SureStay Hotel by Best Western Oklahoma City West

Breakfast was very average for continental breakfast. Room was decent and clean. Location was right of the highway and across the street from a shopping center and quite a few restaurants. A little bit of road construction going on.

We were on a 3 week trip out west and this was the only place that charged us a room deposit of $40. When we left the man at the desk didn’t want to refund all the deposit claiming that there were additional charges of $3 or $4 dollars. We never even picked up the phone while we were there. Not clear on what the charges were.

First of all the staff are super friendly very courteous and very polite very accommodating. It feels comfortable, better still it is very relaxing. Big rooms comfortable beds, clean towels and linens cold air conditioning, all the cable channels you want. On site laundry ice machine. Continental breakfast. Wonderful lighting, plenty of outlets to get your electronics charged. The location is excellent. Right off the highway shopping food entertainment everything at your fingertips. Absolutely nothing negative to say it all, wonderful value. I'll stay there every time I'm in Oklahoma City

when you have my credit card for incidentals, I don’t see any point in charging me for a deposit. it comes across kind of sleazy. given the amazing number of room nights I spend out, and the rareness this comes up (twice in about 200+ room nights), explaining to me how I’m getting off easy with a low deposit doesn’t improve the situation. and for the record, you didn’t just “get an authorization.” you actually charged my card and posted it to my account. they refunded it and I got it back a few days after I left. it’s just seems so slimy. like they’re saying “we know your a criminal so we’re covering our butts.”

Room was clean and comfortable. I was surprised at how nice it actually was. Loved the flooring and the plug ins on the tables right next to the bed. TV worked well along with a mini fridge and microwave. Location felt safe and we were near lots of great shopping and restaurants. Parking lot was well lit. Front desk guy was very kind.

The only downside is that we asked for towels a couple times and they either had only one available (yes, one towel lol) or none available. So they may want to invest in more towels. Also, towels we had weren’t the cleanest.. had stains and other peoples hair stuck to them.

travels with my toddler and myself and it was good for a place to stop and rest. It was clean and quiet - check in was easy and required a 40 dollar deposit which isn’t bad. pretty close to a few places. Beds were comfy and room was spacious.

the breakfast area was very lacking has about 3 tables and shares with the check in area. It looks a bit sketchy in the check in area but nothing that was terrible and made me regret booking.

Breakfast was filling and sufficient as a start to nutrition for today's intake.

Not being able to stick to or establish a relatively regular eating and or sleeping pattern; hence having to go back and forth a couple of times in the same day to have the room key recoded is getting to be a bit much.

Very clean and updated rooms, staff was super friendly, within walking distance of several places to eat and shop. Yes, it’s an older motel, and yes it’s close to an equipment dealer and RV sales lot. However, this just meant it was quiet at night. Would stay again. Future guests do need to be aware there was a $40 deposit required, but was easily returned the next morning.

not really the property, just a little note about the shower curtain. That when you take a shower, the curtain tends to stick to your shoulder. It is just a curtain rod not the curved curtain rod. With the remodeling they should have put in the curved curtain rod where the shower liner doesn’t stick to your shoulder when you’re taking a shower. Also the $40 deposit should have been mentioned when booking the room.

Well we just needed a place to lay our heads on a pillow and take a shower in the morning and it did both plus the bed was comfy and the room was clean and big.

It could have easily had a table with 2 chairs in the corner for there was plenty of room.

The location was good, it was quite, and it fit the purpose for our overnight stay.

When I first entered the room it had an order that smelled like a wet dog. But once I opened the door and let the room air out, the smell went away
