Motel 6-Springfield, OH

After being offered a 2nd floor room and explaining I had a heavy bag the girl was able to move me to another room on the 1st floor. The room I ended up in was nice with a couch and refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The motel is newly renovated so smells clean and the rooms were clean too.

There is no lift/elevator to the 2nd floor. The first room I was given had no couch or fridge. Luckily the girl changed my room for me. In the room the lights are not centred over the bed and they are too high to reach to turn off from within the bed. There is no power at the bed to charge your phone. I found an outlet behind the couch that I used. The fridge is not built into the cabinetry and is more an after thought. There was damage to the bath, a permanent mark on the vanity and the toilet seat was broken - perhaps these were overlooked in the reno? As well the air-conditioner was pretty noisy. None of these except the toilet seat and no lift affected my comfort. Just things to get right in the future.

The location was good and the person at the desk was friendly.

I wish that I had asked for a first-floor room because I had a hard time taking my suitcase and other things up and down the stairs. I also wish that my room had had a microwave oven. It is fortunate for me that I did not bring any leftovers to heat up this year for a meal. I also wish that that I could have watched a Cleveland Guardians game on Bally Sports Great Lakes, but I did not see that station listed (television did have the Cincinnati Reds game on Friday).

Clean room, good location. I had a 2nd floor corner room. Could see the interstate. Room is big and spacious. Staff was friendly and when I asked for anything they helped, no problem. Shower was clean as was the bed. It's a good value for a place to sleep. We stayed 5 nights And next year we'll be back. It's with in walked distance of Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans.

Needs more selections on the tv. Doors are a bit loud when they shut.

The bed was clean and comfortable. Motel 6 also has hard wood floors and I’ve stayed in rooms where they weren’t always super clean. This wasn’t the case in Springfield. The floor even felt clean.

The woman at the front desk was ok.

The room was nice. There was no breakfast offered, only coffee.

The bed was comfortable, but it was too small for me and my sister. I would have liked it more if our room had 2 queen sized beds. There were 3 people in my group.

The young lady that checked me in was very nice. I booked my room online at 60.49 and got charged $70. I didn’t realize there was deposit (my fault I may not have seen that online when I reserved the room) and she was able to check me in early for the price I was told Tues when my husband called.

My bathroom was EXTREMELY dusty and towels looked like they hadn’t be washed. I had to dust my bathroom sink it was so bad. Blankets used on the bed did not look like they had been changed either. And the back of the bathroom door looked like someone had been smoking in a non smoking room I had to clean that too!

The room was clean, very nice , convenient to restaurants and where we were going. The water was plenty hot enough

There are no blow dryers , and no coffee in the room and no microwaves. There was no coffee in the lobby in the morning either

The staff was friendly at anytime we spoke with them.

It would have been nice to of had a coffee pot in the room since there was no coffee available in the lobby due to covid. Did not like the all wood floor -understanding that it is probably easier to keep clean. The drywall around the heating unit was falling off onto the floor. The metal ring around the toilet paper holder was all rusted and no tissues in the tissue holder.

the night staff. wanted to charge more and did by $4 more than what booking. come said it would be and said it was taxes and such not and I showed them that my reservation said it’s in the price already! and they had attitude. lady in the morning was VERY nice!

Provided the area the hotel is located in. They were top notch the whole time. Very clean, sanitized, and fully remodeled with wood floors in the rooms. U

They could put a little more enforcement on some of the late night noise. But it is a hotel with room entry doors in the hallways which tends to make shutting/slamming of doors a little louder.
