Mario's International Spa, Hotel & Restaurant

Come here to relax. Beds were most comfortable we've ever had for some reason. Coffee is available downstairs and you need to wait for it. Chat with friendly staff while they make it. They also bring it up for you. Tub had jets and could also b used as shower. We loved that the staff here maintains this property dating back to the 1840's. We want to come back to enjoy the spa downstairs and restaurant/bar. With only 14 rooms the staff spent time helping us out way more than any other hotel stay I've had. We appreciated the effort that went in to capturing the feel of the Victorian Era in this place.

Other folks may not like the dated construction, lack of elevator to get past one flight of stairs, no in room refrigerator or microwave. Shut off the TV. This place is about being transported to an earlier more relaxing time of history. Antique chairs tables dressers adorn the room and every facet of the property. We heard footsteps from room above and tub noise next door...but not at night so we slept well. The bar area and dining room are elegant Victorian with fireplaces, but they don't serve up a breakfast. Lunch and dinner we were out and about so we missed using this wonderful atmosphere for a meal. Wheel chair access is not available from what we could see. Hand rails were adequate for my wife to ambulate up and down the partial flight of stairs to access room.

During my stay, there was no breakfast during breakfast hours. Since I was leaving in the morning on the last day of my stay, the receptionist said there would be coffee and a muffin for me. There was coffee, but nothing to eat. Slight disappointment, but an effort was made. the rooms were full of atmosphere, but no reading light. All employees I encountered were cordial and proud of their establishment and the owners. It was a welcoming atmosphere

The location does not make it clear how to enter the property to reach the hotel. There are several driveways and the hotel entrance is behind the parking lot and not clearly apparent. Both Uber and Lyft did not know where to go . Clear directions into the property should be included in advertising rather than a numerical street address.

even though the property is on the corner of a busy intersection, I felt like we were secluded. it almost felt like we were in the mountains, with all the trees that are around the building. we almost had the place to ourselves, which was nice. the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. I really liked the small-business feel of the hotel. the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel very welcome. i also appreciated the state of the building and rooms. everything was clean and in good condition. I have stayed in some big chain hotels recently, and have not had good experiences.

The down feather pillows were amazing 🤩 I have not had such soft pillows, since I was a young girl staying at my grandfathers house. The spa and the experience was pretty great. Will definitely come back for another visit.

Was not anything bad about our experience. It was a very nice stay and a cozy room for the evening. Will be making our way back again soon.

I booked a last minute stay at Mario's, and my experience was exceptional! The staff was extremely welcoming and the food absolutely delicious. It was a peaceful experience overall, and extremely convenient to have the spa and restaurant all inside one location. The patio has a waterfall wall and the ambience at night makes you feel like you're in another country. Every night, there was personalized music entertainment. The gentleman was remarkably talented and played specific songs by request. I also booked a few spa services, which exceeded my expectations. I'll certainly be back! I recommend this for any special event you might be celebrating with people you love, or for a personal time alone by yourself. It's safe, clean, and beautiful!

very accommodating staff , room contained everything needed , ice-ask front desk . each room has whirlpool tub and robes and flip flops provided . restaurant very nice and staff very friendly , food delish . free parking . easy reservations for spa services.

The hotel is unique and fun! Rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant and courtyard are lovely. The spa is welcoming and relaxing.

I wish I had known ahead of time that there is no breakfast available. This was a downer on Saturday morning.

I loved EVERYTHING about this place and only wished I had booked it on my way through instead of only on my way back to Philadelphia. Service, room, food, atmosphere....you name it! Excellent!

I fell in love with the decor of the hotel I am a collector of antiques and I love that era and this is what this hotel Intel and the front desk ladies were excellent they were genuinely friendly and had a beautiful spirit and that is rare to find in this time and age that were in it's so much negative I am at this very moment booking my Mother's Day weekend and hope to get a room here unfortunately I was alone but it was the most awesome place to come to meditate pray or just relaxed.. I did not get a chance to visit the restaurant but I did order to my room and the food was excellent The prices were not overpriced as some places are I can see myself coming back here once a month just to get away and be with self It's wonderful you can't go wrong coming here

I thought myself that possibly a small trash can near your bed or table and a light for the desk is very very small things but everything was beautiful

Lovely, vintage decor and quiet property. The bath was a nice surprise and a great treat after wedding festivities! I highly recommend this place to anyone.
