Staff were super nice! Really liked the location. Bed was really comfortable. Morning continental breakfast was good!

Poor lighting throughout the unit. Shower water pressure was great, but the shower is dingy looking and way too small, also the large step up is tricky to navigate. In room heating unit is very slow to warm up the room. It was really chilly when we arrived, and it took hours to warm up the room even with the use of a small portable heater. The room really needs some soundproofing. Luckily, we only had one night where their was people above our room. We could hear every step they took along with hearing the shower and commode flushing.

The staff at the Sunset Inn were nice, helpful and personable. The Bermuda room and the sunset view was exceptional and the short walk to the beach saved on parking issues. My wife appreciated the gluten free breakfast options. The porches are a plus and allow you to enjoy the ocean breezes or sunset views. The Sunset Inn was conveniently located near the Sunset Beach Trading Company when the wind took away our beach umbrella. The Wifi worked well and the dehumidifier in the room helped the room be more comfortable. We definitely plan to return soon!

The grab and go breakfast was exceptional! The manager was super nice and went out of her way to make sure we had any and everything we wanted. The beach was short walk from the inn. The view of the marsh was very nice, as there was a lot of birds in the sanctuary to watch while we drank our coffee of the mornings. We stayed in the “Bermuda room” and it was very lovely. We will definitely return!!

Coffee was available in our room in the small coffee maker, but the “good” coffee could be made available a tad bit earlier than 7:45 am and breakfast at 8:15. It’s not a deal breaker, by any means, but we get up early.

The breakfast was very good with a hot sausage and egg caserole as well as oatmeal. Fruit and danish were available and delicious. The breakfast area was neat and well-appointed. Service was excellent.

At $250/night the rooms were a little expensive, but were very nicely appointed. Room service for additional linens, etc was excellent. Management staff on-site were very attentive to all requests.

The location was convenient with a few minute walk to the beach, the room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the screened private balcony complete with Carolina rocking chairs overlooking a lovely marsh area with views of the sunset.

How clean everything was! And the dehumidifier kept everything fresh smelling. Had a nice breakfast done with minimum exposure in a grab and go fashion. Very tasty little sausage quiches with homade breads were such a nice touch! Never wanted for anything. Clean towels, cloths, linens, coffees etc were brought as we needed them everyday. They has hot tea packets, special flavored coffees and assorted cookies every afternoon which was a nice quick pick me up between breakfast and supper. Very charming place to stay with so much character! Each room has a different theme. I loved watching the sunset from the screened in pourch

Having to carry heavy luggage up stairs when we arrived and departed. They have a lift but wasn't working.

This fourteen room inn was the perfect place to stay during the ongoing pandemic. The rooms were spotlessly clean. You were advised not to enter the lobby to check-in; keys were left in our room. Instead of eating breakfast in the breakfast room, you grabbed a tray, chose what you wanted to eat (including one hot dish every day), and ate on the wonderful porch that every room had. The walk to the beach was very short, and the inn provided a beach umbrella and chairs.

We were on the third floor so we got our exercise on the stairs. There was also a transom window over the front door, and at night, when the porch lights were on for safety, there was no way to block the light. We both like to sleep in a very dark room, so this was a problem.

Loved the view of the bird sanctuary from our balcony - why I booked there. Food was great and nearness to the ocean was a plus - we walked there. We arrived about 30 minutes early and there were no problems. Will try Ocean Isle next year!!

Shower had a step down - we had no problems but might be for older travelers. We have an extended truck for traveling and parking was tight for us. Not sure what capacity was, but might be crowded in season - we went at the end of October.

Everything. The Bermuda room was amazing. spacious, decor was great. My wife has an egg allergy, I had called ahead to see if they could help being they provide breakfast. They went out of their way to make sure my wife had a hot meal for breakfast. Andrea and Cynthia are FANTASTIC!!!

We couldn’t stay longer.

B & B yet breakfast was only a notch above a Hampton or Courtyard breakfast. Hot dish each day was essentially a slight variation of the day before.
