Fairfield Inn by Marriott Rockingham

Everything about the facility was good. They were under construction at the time, and that was an eye sore, but overall all it was a great place for my overnight trip.

Because of the construction, I would have liked to know there wasn't an elevator available. That can cause problems if someone had a health condition or if someone had kids with them and had to move a lot of things. I do understand that construction has to be done, but I probably would have chosen another hotel had I known that there wasn't a working elevator. If you are going to use this hotel, just call to see if the construction is finished. Other that that it's a great place.

I liked that the room was spacious and clean. I also liked that the room was accomodating to handicapped. I liked that there were many outlets and USB charging ports in the room that was awesome.

I didn't like that there was an extra $150 fee on top of the cost of the room. I also didn't like that that there were no regular trash cans in the room. It was good to have recycling bin in the room, but no regular trash can. There was also no tissue in the room itself there was only a box of tissue in the bathroom. I didn't like that there were not many carts to roll luggage on and I didn't like thar the elevator was very slow.

Did not like the fact that there were no bags in the trashcans they did not come in and at least empty the trash or replace the towels I understand about cleaning only every three days which that was perfectly fine but I just felt like for the money that I shouldn’t have to go downstairs to get towels. Also the pool was not open because they did not have an attendant to clean after the guest I really feel a way around that is to place a sign place some spray people should have the right to clean equipment before they use it just really felt shortsighted when it came to the breakfast as well

It’s always nice to have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker in the room. The bathroom had plenty of counter space which is always welcomed. The closet was small and efficient. The room was well laid out and clean. Breakfast had a good selection of cold and warm options.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Super clean facilities. Room was in excellent condition. Most of all it was clean! Not a single hair in the bathroom (even behind things was clean).

Walls are a bit thin. You can hear other people's conversations next door. Floors creaked really bad. Breakfast was lacking, but signage said they were bringing it back soon.

Rooms were very clean it was very quiet and location was good.

Breakfast could have been better it was not very inviting the choice that was made for the menu was not for everyone and that was not a whole lot of choices for the breakfast menu. Staff was not that friendly did not make you feel welcome.

The breakfast was adequate for a continental breakfast. The variety of food good. The staff, room, location, and the facility was very satisfactory.

The only thing that was not satisfactory was the bed. The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable because you felt like you had slept on a board. I was talking with a couple of guest who were at breakfast who stated their backs were hurting and so was mine. Other than that, I will visit again because I need your location.

Could have a better variety of breakfast. Also the curtains were see through and we were facing the front of the building. I would have liked more privacy.

Hotel is very nice! Stayed here several times!

I don’t like that they do not honor your room selection. We picked a King room and got put in a Queen room. Since I am so tall, I really prefer a King Bed.

Nice location could not upgrade because of website but fine with it. Breakfast was good housekeeping on point.
