Lotte New York Palace

Great view over the cathederal. Great spot near lots of lovely restaurants and spots. The gym is AMAZING if you like a good fitness centre. The hotel, bar and restaurants as well as gyms were amazing and newly renovated. The gold room is beautiful and everything is lovely about the hotel.

The room was okay, bed was very comfortable but the decor was a bit dated for us, the bathrooms were really underwhelming, I expect better bathrooms for the price I paid. It is all clean but just old and a bit dated with the shower curtain in the bath etc compared to the rest of the hotel. Also, we were spending lots of money on champagne yet then were charged for an extra bowl of nuts/snacks, a 5 star hotel at this price should give snacks for free in their hotel bar.

Great location, friendly staff, good size room

A bit overpriced - especially when you have to pay for wifi. Also i don't see a reason why it would be necessary to remove coffee machines from the rooms - COVID is a great excuse to reduce that expense.

The location is amazing (the St Patrick Cathedral's view is worth the extra cost). The old Palace spaces are beautiful and nice. The Rarities Bar is a highlight.

The Check-in process was slow but attentive. The room is outdated but very clean and spacious. I don't like to pay to use the WIFI. The minibar was sealed (!) but they offered a regular fridge as we stayed for a week.

Beautiful property, with exquisite features in the Villard Mansion areas. Our room on the 9th floor was spotless, well equipped and had the most amazing view of the Cathedral. Only wish we had more time to stay there longer. The Bellman Matt was another highlight of our stay - supremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Michael on reception was also very helpful and attentive to our needs.

I wish we could have stayed longer, and I wish we knew about the spa - would have loved to have spent some time relaxing in there.

The location was excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful. They were accommodating with our early check in and stored our luggage after our checkout. The tips they gave were very helpful and they seemed interested in our experience. The grounds were beautiful and I enjoyed riding the Peloton bike in the fitness room.

The only thing that could have been better would be having a water spout to fill water bottles in the lobby, having some sort of complementary morning food or snack. We also enjoyed the gated entrance. It was opened some of the time, so when that entrance was open, we were excited to get to experience it’s charm!

The holiday/Christmas decoration was beautiful. My family enjoyed it a lot. The room view overlooking St Patrick’s Cathedral and city view was amazing. Staff were nice.

No free breakfast for the amount we paid. 😞 The restaurant and cafe were always full. We’ll it was a holiday season. The curtains inside the room, I didn’t like. Sorry.

The property is stunning. the location is in walking distance to all the tourist attractions we wanted to see (Times Square, Central Park, grand central and rockerfella centre) tube station not far away either. all staff always have a friendly welcome when they seen us. Breakfast was delicious.

we had pre paid for breakfast via booking.com but was informed on checkout they do not offer a breakfast offer which was confusing. it worked out slightly more ($160) than what we had been quoted for on booking.com and we only had breakfast a few days of our stay. this is the only negative.
