Hampton Inn Ithaca

Friendly enough staff with the exception being Pat at breakfast, Pat, she was absolutely lovely! Food was great. Room good but missing a large chair to sit in the corner. Room was a little cramped. Bed was comfortable but much too soft for us. Linen was very clean!!! Price much too high, shameful. The price during the week is appropriate, raising it soo much on the weekends is price gauging. Thank you

Missed breakfast. Was told breakfast is served over there was not given a time. Went for breakfast 10:09, breakfast was cleared away and then I saw the sign on the wall, behind where we check in to the side of the entrance of the tables. Breakfast was served 6-10

It Would have been nice to be told at check in, the time of check out and the time of breakfast

Hotel is nice and at a great location, close to restaurants and stores. It is about 10mins drive from Cornell. It was very clean and we felt safe since they follow CDC guidelines under covid circumstances (they provide masks if needed and have hand sanitizer everywhere. Room was very spacious and clean. The To-Go breakfast choice was very convenient. Staff was incredibly helpful!! We had to visit Ithaca because our son had an emergency surgery and they accommodated us based on our son’s recovery needs. A big shout out to Warren and Debbie at the front front desk!! We truly appreciate your kindness and support during our 5days-stay there!!

Bed could be a little more comfortable especially for people who stay over 3nights but we can’t say they’re “bad”

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Caleb, who checked us in. He was very knowledgeable and very nice. He even answered our questions about the hiking trails nearby.

The bathroom needs to be updated.

The hotel was very close to the street. Since our room was on the street side of the hotel, there was traffic noise. I would request a room on the back side of the hotel next time.

Central to shopping

COFFEE was terrible!! but coffee kiosk was clean, well stocked & in a great location!!! Candy @ the Front Desk was a great idea! And how did you know I needed an ice scraper for my car?? Great Staff & Hotel, thank you, Nancy

We liked how our motorcycles could be parked in view of the front desk and sheltered. Staff was really nice and helpful in accommodating booking changes we needed to extend our stay.

the room was very clean and comfortable. The doors shut very loudly and should have some sort of bumpers installed to dampen the noise. Also the back door entrance key reader was a little temperamental

a few rooms available as smoking rooms would be nice, especially since pets are welcomed. The pool should also be opened. I get the whole covid scare but NOTHING lives in the amount of chlorine in those things

The king room was really big and the bed was comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were extremely clean. You could ask the front desk for any necessities you may have forgotten, which I thought was a nice touch. Breakfast was not too bad, considering the times, with bagels and oatmeal options as well as grab n go bags with muffins cereal bars and water bottles.

Whilst pets stay at no extra charge, which is great, you aren’t allowed to leave them unattended in the room. This may be a problem if you want to go into town for dinner etc.

The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, and the bathroom was stocked with essentials.

We didn't run across any difficulties or experience anything we didn't like.
