Hampton Inn White Plains/Tarrytown

I have stayed with you before and found the facilities and location perfect. I would stay again. Coffee 24/7 is wonderful. I didn't have breakfast ala carte but was told the eggs were imitation and left something to be desired.

I booked with an agent and there was some confusion about my 2nd day's stay. It was rectified at check-out but it had already been handled with my booking agent prior to our arrival and we were disappointed to have to resolve the issue again at the site.

The good people, easy access from highway, clean, easy parking and easy to get from parking to room, breakfast.

TV kept conking out (I could tell the woman at desk was nearly expecting it)…a gentleman came up quickly to reboot it (it would have been nice if I didn’t need to have a person come in my room as it was long day of travel, it was late, and I’d just showered - the man was helpful and quick though). I learned how to reboot (unplug, replug basically on back of screen) fortunately since I had to do a few more times before going to bed. I also slipped in the handicap tub while showered got (using only soap) and hit the right side of head)…I’m pretty agile so came out of it ok but since it IS a room for handicap I’d DEFINITELY find a way to make tub less slippery! Another won’t come out as well! Even a bubble mat or something!

The staff was super friendly on all three shifts. The guy on nights was really friendly, not that he was any friendlier than any the others but, sometimes night shift staff can be somewhat anti social I was pleasantly surprised. Driving up the parking lot though made my engine and transmission earn their keep. It felt like I was climbing a mountain 😆. Even funnier to me because I live in a city in a western state named The City Of Hills and that made the worst hills in our city look like speed bumps by comparison. All around a good experience

The breakfast was by far the worst part. Not really your fault though given the state mandates, bagged breakfast is necessary I guess. There was a pervasive smell of cigarette smoke that wafted through the halls. Some parts of the halls smelled worse than others. It smelled as if people were actively smoking in there rooms.

It met all our expectations. Clean rooms, friendly and professional staff each visit. This is our second stay coming to New York area.

Notice some of the furniture in eating area needs attention. Excessive wear/ torn seating.

Nice to have a good breakfast provided. Located in close proximity to my family whichi was visiting. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Fix the second elevator

The staff was great and the rooms were comfortable. Everything was in working order and nothing was broken or in bad shape

It is a bit out of the way into town for those who don't drive, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel so that is a plus. For those who drive, location is not bad

The property was clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The room had good accommodations

No fan in the bathroom to let out humidity. The carpet felt damp. Could use some chairs in the outside front area while waiting to be picked up. Complimentary breakfast could be upgraded, especially for room price.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Excellent location for the purpose of my visit.

Size of bathroom. Bathroom toilet with flushing problems if large stools.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean.

The toilet kept running. The chain inside the latch was off the chain in the tank but I fixed it myself. Could've been more wash clothes. The downstairs staff didn't seem to eager to help with anything but to check you in. Except the next day when I checked out the woman was helpful n asked how was my stay. And she called me a cab.

Nice hot morning breakfast and accessible coffee station 24hrs

I didn't like that there were no microwaves in the room and I had to go to the lobby everytime I needed to warm my food. I understand that it may be due to fire hazards that the decision was made but it was very inconsiderate and inconvenient. They may want to consider placing one microwave on each floor next to the ice machine.
