Hilton Garden Inn Albany Medical Center

The location is amazing. You can feel safe walking at night, even as a single woman. The Gardens are a block away. Ample luxury shopping. The price is very reasonable considering it's in Back Bay. The service is impeccable. My son got hungry 10 min to 11 and they were able to get sliders up to us by 11, my son said they were the best sliders he ever ate. Very child friendly and dog friendly .

Nothing, we are always happy staying here, and will continue to stay here everytime we are in Boston. ****You absolutely need to get a suite if you are looking for space (the same goes for all historic/older Hotels in Boston. ).***

Actually I loved the room where the breakfast was served. I wasn't wild about the eggs, but the breakfast otherwise was good. I liked the ease of going into the hospital by the corridors. The restaurants nearby were nice. The staff people were all great.

At one point my microwave started beeping and would not stop. I had not even used it. Eventually someone from the staff was able to quiet it down. The parking was expensive.

We requested a late check-out & were told we had to ask in the AM -- in the AM we were told no -- it would have been better to just be told no the night before Price was a little high as no breakfast was even included but it was a weekend w/ a big concert nearby so prices likely increased

We stayed because our daughter was having surgery at Albany Med early in the morning. Having the parking garage and hotel attached to the hospital was very convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff we encountered were friendly.

You have to use your key card to access the floors from the elevators if it doesn't work you are stuck on the elevator and the doors don't open. There are no menus or directories in the room not even for the restaurant downstairs and they do not deliver to the room and local takeout only goes as far as the lobby.

The location was great, right in the middle of the city. Parking was a bit small but wasnt too bad. Our first room was giving my partner a bit of an allergic reaction like there was a pet there recently and had a bad nights sleep after our long drive there, we got a cleaner room the next morning so only really had one bad night. Breakfast was good and it was a nice sitting area for us to eat. The hotel was located in a great location where you can walk to a park down the street or to a nice place to eat.

The only thing I was not happy about was the parking lot, it was a bit small. The sitting area where we had breakfast can be a bit updated, the chairs leather was falling apart. Rooms can use a bit more light and color.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was simple. There is a restaurant, Bank Atm,Starbucks and Gym on the premise. Very convenient if you do not want to leave the hotel. Hotel is in good walking distance to the park. There are other restaurants within walking distance and a cvs pharmacy . Security to access room is a plus. And check out is at 12pm so no need to wake up super early.

I woke up with a stuffy nose but that was due to the carpet. I would not consider that a major issue. And wish my stay was longer

The room was nice and clean.

Breakfast was a total disappointment. We weren’t offered menu service. The food (bacon, eggs and potatoes) were cold. The price was ridiculous, $45.00 for 3 people including a child for what was offered. We tried to use the pool but it was very cold. Too uncomfortable to use.

From the moment we walked in I was greeted well. I liked how clean our room was. Our toilet had an issue and it was taken care of right away.

The parking lot was small so we were hesitant to explore more of Albany in fear that we wouldn't have gotten a parking spot when we returned.

right in the downtown area, 10min walk from Washington park. parking was easy and free, and the front desk girls were very nice and perky. also they made our stay a bit nicer by surprising us with some extras due to it being our anniversary!

breakfast was nowhere as good as we thought it would be, but it filled our stomachs atleast.

The location next to the hospital and not having to go outside to get there. My husband was an inpatient at Albany Medical Center for 30 days. Staff was very understanding of extending the stay at intervals until my husband was finally well enough to be discharged. The room rates were higher than what I could afford but the convenience of being near my husband during his critical stay kept me there.
