Travelodge by Wyndham Raton

I liked that we had a room on the 1st floor and the room was clean. And, I'm glad it included breakfast even though we received a message from this motel before we arrived saying that breakfast and the pool would not be open because of construction.

We had a handicapped room that did not have any counter around the sink to place our toiletries. Perhaps a shelf or counter can be placed for this purpose. Also, at 5 AM we had somebody start a diesel truck right outside our door that ran noisily for 45 minutes before they left. If this is a long-term guest I would make sure they parked away from the rooms so that overnight guests don't have to endure this noise so early in the morning.

The location was okay.

The smoke detector was open with no batteries. The mattresses seemed very old and used hard. I booked a deluxe room with two queen beds. it was supposed to be bigger than the rooms with double beds. I got one of the smaller rooms with two double beds. the room was very small. I paid over $100.00 for this room. the night before, I paid $75.00 for a similar room at a Rodeway Inn.

The man checking us in had the attitude as if he was doing us a favor of letting us stay there. By all indications, the pandemic restrictions and safety measures are lifted, however, there still isn’t any type of breakfast offered.

Got an amazing price on a"smoking room" and it had ZERO smoke smell. Super quiet, amazing AC, extremely convenient location, easy check in and out. Hot water in the shower for days, excellent cable tv reception, felt safe (single maure female adult traveler) super clean (and I own a luxury vacation rental cleaning business in a resort town). I don't need fancy but know what counts and this place is great for a person who needs a place to stay during a long road trip.

While undergoing renovations it appears to be trending positive......clean, comfortable and the staff was very accommodating

room was small and movement was hindered by the size of furniture ... but otherwise all was good.... maybe a few more ashtrays for outdoor smokers..... a lack of this seemed to encourage folks just to toss them on the ground...

The comfortable bed and hot shower, exactly what was needed on a long drive.

There wasn't many amenities in the room, I had to ask for shampoo and soap. It was clean and comfortable otherwise, good if you need a place to lay your head and a shower.

The room was clean, comfortable, and affordable.

What could have been better was the fact that there was no breakfast of any type. However, the price was right. My wife and I have stayed there before and probably will again.

Quiet, room was a little small, but adequate.

Previously I said I would not stay there again was bcause we would never b traveling this way again. But condition of building is very poor. Young man who checked us in was very efficient!

There was a place to walk the dogs. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was helpfu6.

They charge too much for dogs. I have two small dogs which increased the room rate by 40. It is difficult to imagine why the additional charge
