Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clinton, an IHG Hotel

The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, hard working. and accommodating.

When I called for reservations, I thought I was speaking with a Holiday Inn employee when he suggested I make the reservations online. My husband made them for our stay and we made a printout giving confirmation. I presented this to the employee at checkin and learned that our reservations were made through a third party and that I could not obtain Priority Points for the stay because because I went through a third party. I had no idea this was a third party and I feel very strongly that this encroachment prevented me from earning points for the stay. The third party should nit have access to Holiday Inn customers without their know,edge.

We stayed for 3 nights. It was clean. All staff were nice and respectful. Breakfast was hot and very tasty our whole stay. I don’t eat pork and they had Turkey options so that was a major plus. The cooks & our housekeepers were really sweet. Beds are very comfortable. I always bring my own soap/body wash but it was good to know that they have DOVE products and not that other soap that makes people skin drier than what it already was. 10/10

We honestly don’t have any dislikes about this property!

super convenient right off the highway for our mid way stop on a trip from TX back home to NC. I can not say enough about the staff!!! I wish I would have got their names but the front desk gentleman that checked us in was wonderful and the woman that was overseeing the breakfast in the morning made my day!!! I was a little overwhelmed helping my 3 boys (11, 8 & 6 yr olds) plus the 2 other 11 year olds we had traveling with us after a long football tournament. She was so sweet and helpful and relieved so much stress from my morning.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was yummy & the sweet lady cooking was very attentive to everyone. The grounds made me feel safe.

There were a couple of things, but only Jesus is perfect:-)). The vending machine wouldn’t take $. We were given 2 remotes & batteries to try, but nothing worked. So used the buttons at the bottom of the tv.

Front desk lady was super friendly. The room that she gave me was AMAZING OMG!!! Breakfast needs to add waffles and bacon back to the list. The sausage needs to be cooked more vs heated🤢. Other than that I love it here

The sausage is only heated needs cooked longer. Back needs to be added. Waffles needs to be added back!!

The hotel staff. I really loved the hostess in the breakfast room. Everything was fresh and good. Her personality was very pleasant.

The elevator was stalling. The doors made a loud noise. It moved very slowly. I rode if once, then used the stair the remainder of the stay.

Everything EXCEPT the overpricing of the room. Facilities were great, room was very comfortable, breakfast was great!!! The Staff was very courteous and professional.

Overpricing of the room. Before Deion Sanders the room rates were $75- $100 per night. Now they are $170 - $350 per night OUTRAGEOUS!!!

The breakfast was the basket of cereal boxes. A hot breakfast was not served. I was greeted with a note that there was no hot breakfast served. Hot coffee would have been nice!

I didn't get a hot breakfast or even coffee. The wifi did not work at all and I was traveling for business. I called the front desk and the employee did not answer. I called the helpdesk and there was no answer.

So far this has been the best hotel experience we have had on this trip. It was our third hotel in three days, cost less than ether of the other two, and as much nicer. The pleasant greeting from the moment we walked in set the tone for our stay. Everyone with whom we came into contact was so polite and nice and welcoming. That is what people expect when they stay at a hotel. I gave Bree’s certification card to the lady when I checked in even though she didn’t request it. She never questioned Bree’s presence with me. She was happy to see all of us – including Bree. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had plenty of space to put our luggage and spread out. Bree had room to play fetch for a little while and let out some energy after being stuck in a car for so long. Our room also had a microwave, small refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee pot. I didn’t care for the coffee, but there wasn’t much cream or sugar. That really didn’t matter though. It wasn’t enough to make me change my opinion that this was the best hotel we had stayed in so far. Breakfast was exactly what we expected. When we checked in Wednesday night, I asked about breakfast. The lady at the desk said that they did have a grab-and-go breakfast. She explained that due to COVID, they were trying to provide something for their guests without putting anyone at any more risk than we all already face. I appreciated this so much. When we got down to get breakfast, it was exactly what we thought – small white bags, each with a piece of fruit and a muffin, individual cereal servings (although they had run out of white milk, but we didn’t care), chocolate milk, and various fruit juices. there was also fresh coffee. It was great. We just grabbed what we wanted and returned to our room to eat before we checked out. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again if ever staying in Clinton. Everyone who worked there seemed to go out of their way to make sure their guests had everything they needed.

I did not have a breakfast. The receptionist was very nice and changed my room to two queens because they did not have any kings. When I went to open the blind, the blind fell. We fixed it but WOW. Other than that it was what I expected from an Holiday inn express

The company booking thru Holiday inn express should not offer rooms that are not available. At the hotel if they don’t have a room available they sjj hu oils discount the next available room. I could have chosen a different hotel especially when the receptionist said she could give it to me at the same price (king for 2 queens). I was not offered anything for being a IHG member. I thought I would at least be offered a water. I also asked for military and/or AARP discount. The rate I was charged may have reflected this but possibly did not because at that point I just wanted to get to my room
