Holiday Inn Express Wixom, an IHG Hotel

Elham was very sweet to my kids at breakfast and she even Went the extra mile to warm up extra gravy since there was none left. She was working very hard at breakfast. The gentleman who checked us in at night was also very kind and he was very welcoming.

A lot of traffic seemed to be happening in the parking lot, although I know this is not the property itselfs fault I felt like a few of the females waiting outside didn’t even have rooms there and was trying to do illegal activities.

Breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were delicious! Other Foods offered were tasty and cleanly presented. Steve at check-in and throughout my stay was a fantastic host. Customer service should take lessons from Steve! Location and access to the hospital (wife had a major surgery)

Not a complaint because the one night my wife slept she loved the bed! But for me the bed wasn’t ideal. (We were in Novi for a surgery for her) so she only slept one night in room. I’m not sure if I’m a firm or a soft mattress guy.

My fiancé and I decided to take a night away, we went to the cider mill and came back to our room to relax. The pool and hot tub were great! Staff was friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. The free breakfast in the morning was delicious and Erham was wonderful, I am probably saying her name wrong…but she made sure we had all we needed at breakfast!

I would say one small thing was there may have been too much chlorine in the hot tub, it burned our eyes, and a few other guests we shared it with said the same thing. Also, an idea is maybe offer an adult only time for the pool/jacuzzi maybe from 9-11 or 10-11? Kids just running back and forth between them or sitting on the steps, makes it just a little difficult to relax.

So many things- 1. The breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed the variety of choices. Ms. Elham was very helpful! She helped me carry my little ones food to the table and was so positive about cleaning up the mess when one of them accidentally spilled...she is kind and caring and made us feel welcome. 2. The guy at the front desk- he was who we saw first, first thing in the morning when we were coming down for breakfast. He always had a smile for us. He was so polite and kind . He was helpful when my daughter locked her sisters babydoll shoes in the safe. He made sure to send the maintenance man to right away!! He seemed to enjoy what he was doing which made us feel that much more at ease. We were in safe hands. Might I add a very good looking guy to be greeted by everytime the elevator door opened 😁 3. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable.. everything was in good working order. Set up maybe a bit awkward but by the end of our stay, we adapted and it worked. 4. Pool hours were great! We were able to swim early and late. 5. We were here for cheer competition and it was slightly worrisome for me to travel alone with three girls. Everyone was so nice, helpful and environment was welcoming and felt very safe. Put me at ease alot so we could enjoy our get away.

The only issue was when a group of drunk bros in the room across the hall got into a fight in the hallway. The staff responded immediately when we called down and we’re very professional in handling the situation.

Clean, quiet, and easy access. Megan at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She does her job like she owns the place. I will return next year on or about the same weekend. Great place to stay. Thanks, Dennis J.

Room is spacious and bed is big and comfortable, lots of drawers and storage

We requested a room at the highest floor, and received and email that it is going to be accomodated,but got a room in the 2nd floor. So, we heard banging from the floor above, not great for a good night sleep. Had the earbuds all night.

Very clean and staff attentive to our needs. Also conveniently located near restaurants and stores.

There is no fault to the hotel, but construction is going on near the hotel, and it was an inconvenience getting to the expressway.

what I liked about the property was that it was very comfortable, clean and staff was very nice. Breakfast was awesome to!!

What I didn’t like about the property well there isn’t really anything I didn’t like. Everything was perfect for the birthday trip for my 13 year old.

Bed was super comfy, too tired to use the pool, breakfast was delicious— Elham did a great job preparing it. We’re planning on attending the scrapbook mega meet next year and will book at your hotel.

I was very satisfied— the only thing (not a huge deal) I didn’t bring a hair dryer because expected the room to have one.
