Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Warren

The staff was so friendly and helped with everything that was needed. Even though this hotel was older the decorations were modern and looked like it was updated. The sitting areas looked inviting and comfortable since we were there for a concert at the Ford Field we didn’t use them. The drive to the venue was highway driving but we did have an alternative that maps took us and we felt safe getting there.

Only one elevator in the whole hotel. The stairs were fine however when we were coming and going without luggage.

I loved everything about this place once my room was changed!! The balcony rooms facing the court yard are just stunning!! This place is beautiful, clean, well kept, quite and peaceful. Im floored that this hotel has been able to keep up its standards and appearance being its in such a low grade community like warren. I was not expecting this hotel to be as amazing as it was. Super friendly staff and extremely clean property.

I didnt like the rooms facing the parking lot.

The breakfast and the breakfast selections were adequate. The spacing of the tables was to our liking. The parking lot spaces provided plenty of room. The Front Desk staff is a tremendous asset to this Courtyard Marriott. They were warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. The housekeeping staff was also warm and friendly.

The walking distance from the Front Desk to our guest room was longer than anticipated. In addition, the location of the elevator was not convenient.

The King Suite had plenty of space for relaxation. The indoor pool was actually warm and my son enjoyed it a couple of times. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I didn't like reserving pool time and going down to the main desk to get the pool key. The room wasn't the cleanest. Their was a bottle cap under the lamp and the couch had stains on it. There was also a musty smell to the room. It smelled nothing like the main lobby which had a clean & fragrant smell.

I love the location

I was told on the phone when I made the reservation that I could use my Federal Employee discount. When I checked in I was told I could only get the discount if I was traveling on business as a Federal Employee! I was expecting the amount to be less than $216 once my discount was applied. The person who checked me out on Sunday assured me I got the discount. I was still expecting the amount to be less with the discount. So I was upset with having been given incorrect information.

The location, comfort level.

The personality of the Woman that checked us in. Very unwelcoming as if it was an inconvenience for me to be there. Definitely could be more friendly. The Woman who checked us out was very pleasant.

I liked the balcony and view to the pool from my room.

I didn’t like the fact I had a issue and it had to be resolved by the front staff and not the older gentleman that just offered me spray when he came. Guess he’s the handyman that doesn’t do anything. Again he was a older gentleman 🤷🏽‍♀️

Price was good Need mirror in room with three women getting ready it was hard with one mirror Need a night stand on side of bed next to bathroom.

We loved the location!

Housekeeping was not allowed to clean the rooms BUT they accommodated us with towels, tissue, and anything else we requested.

The girls at the desk were informed and professional.

It was quiet at night, and it was close to the events we were attending
