Baymont by Wyndham Monroe

I likes that rooms they were clean and spacious. Staff was excellent. The black guy with the piercings is a good guy, and he's on it. I appreciated his ethic. Im also a black man.Just so everyone knows. Lol....I enjoyed myself.

I didn't like all the spiders outside the exit doors at 115 and 117. There is no way either one of those door ways or the cameras have been clean in months. I mean I counted 9 spiders. I should have taken pictures but I left my phone inside. Those doorways and above need cleaned atleast 4 times a week. Other than that I would stay again.....

This facility has been well cared for. The carpet everywhere looks new. The hallways smelled like laundry fresh from the dryer. The room was spotless, the cable t.v. channel selection was overwhelming. The bed was wonderful. Beats the heck out of Best Western Corbin Inn (KY) whose rack rate is $139 and doesn't even compare.

Neighborhood. Behind an abandoned shopping plaza, I-75 South was 150 feet away. The indoor heated pool was "out of order". Had to trek up and down stairs for ice.

the breakfast is getting has now more variety and options than a few months ago… Staff very attentive and welcoming to the new customers. I stayed in the same room that I have stayed before and they improved a few things I pointed out at some point.

It would be nice not to be charge an early check in fee specially if the room is not occupied and already available. During the days is hard to sleep sometimes because of some clients that talk very loud in the hall or have dogs that bark…

The property was decent. The rooms were pretty clean and cozy. There was free breakfast every morning.

They had a pool that was empty and I would of loved to swim. It used to be a nice area and now it’s all run down abandoned strip mall’s surrounded by now what is probably 10 weed dispensaries that are pedaling weed to the surrounding states since Monroe is the border of Ohio. It was kinda sad.

Have been staying for a couple weeks already and by this time the staff recognized me and have been very kind and friendly throughout the stay.

it seems to be a pattern here when cleaning the rooms. Out of 5 nights that I stayed there, only one day the housekeeping service cleaned the room. Maybe I should a formal request at the front desk ?

What was not to like! Stephanie at the desk was the best! She was very helpful, friendly and thoughtful and professional! She resolved and small issues we had quickly and was just in general the main reason I will come back again and again and will tell family and friends to make this hotel their new getaway spot! 10 stars to Stephanie and the Baymont of Monroe! 😊

Very secluded location; it feels isolated at times but good if you need to rest. Breakfast was decent although not diverse. Staff very respectful and responsive.

The only think I considered worth mentioning was the fact that from 5 nights I only had one day my room done and clean by the housekeeping service.

Clean and comfortable rooms, super friendly staff

The room keys were deactivated each day and we had to keep having them reactivated - not enough parking, guest entries were taped so they did not lock and anyone can open them and come inside, this is not safe !!

Stephanie was amazing... very friendly and helpful. Had a very clean room. They have a washer and dryer so that was helpful.

The pool was closed with no water and the breakfast was less than most other hotels. Juice Machine didn't work at all. Vending machine could of used a fill and update.

Clean comfortable beds. Loved the laminate floors instead of carpet.

Booking.com charged us for breakfast. When checking in we inquired on the time for breakfast. Was told by staff there is no breakfast due to Covid. Said we had to get our money back from booking.com. Sign in hotel office still indicated breakfast available. One of the reasons we chose this hotel and location was to include a quick breakfast before continuing our travel. Will not use booking.com or Baymont again. Too many other choices available
