Nader's Motel & Suites

Clean, friendly environment, dog friendly, kid friendly. Everyone was very nice. I really liked the fact I could park right by my room and had individual access. I enjoyed having the sliding class door to open when it was nice out and enjoy natural light and a family friendly view. Very convenient to have the dog walking area with the poop bags and garbage can. Our room location was perfect.

I was unsure about cleaning the room with a dog. This was not a big deal because when I asked for anything I was provided, but it would be nice to get fresh garbage bags every other day.

The price was fantastic and the room was way better than I would've thought for a motel. The grounds were well kept and the property has a lot of fun things to do: gas fire pit, shuffleboard, pool, and corn hole! Loved the fridge and microwave with counter space. The only knock is the water is VERY hard, but that's not a fault of Nader's. Great place to stay!

There weren't any tissues in my room when I checked in. I wasn't sure if they provided them until day 2 when I asked. Should've asked sooner. A very small ding. The remote control for the TV in the living room had a broken button so finding a particular station (with a 3) was tricky. As mentioned, the water is too hard.

This motel is family run and the owners do a great job of making it nice. There is a pool, picnic tables, community fire pit, yard games, bikes to use and even a community kitchen. It is right down the road from the beach so location is great. We had an upstairs room with two beds with a door that closed to the seating area. There was a private balcony with rockers. Although the place was older it felt clean and taken care of. Check-in was very easy and friendly. Kids were having fun riding bikes around the buildings. Perfect place for families to gather. We had a great meal at Styx!

The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but that is usually the case and not the motels fault. I would bring an air mattress if I had the need. We went to get ice and the machine was empty. We saw kids filling a Yeti backpack the next morning so again not much the motel could do to avoid that.

Great location near Stearns Park. I was worried about getting a “pet friendly room” for the first time but there was no evidence pets had stayed in there before, it was perfectly clean. There is a great yard area with doggie clean up station that was perfect for our dog, and I didn’t find random piles of poo anywhere on the property. Furthermore, the room was fairly updated/modern. Our room had vaulted ceilings.

The room was nice and very clean! I accidrntally locked myself out of my room early one morning so had to wake them up but was able toget back in quickly. Housekeeping staff always friendly in the mornings when I'd take my dog for a walk. I worked during the day and my dog and I explored the trails after work. Reliable wifi service!! I will go back if in the Ludington area and stay!

I went the week before Memorial Day so no access to the heated pool, picnic tables, gas grill or firepit

Nader's was exceptionally clean and very well taken care of. Checking in was a great experience as the woman who did it was kind and fast. We like at least 2-3 cups of coffee each morning and there was never a problem getting more when we asked for it. Also asked for another bar of soap and got two.

Very clean room.

The hotel has a metal, round wide railing leading to the second floor on a set of outside stairs. However, if it rains or in the mornings when there is dew on the railing, it is very slick. I tried to grip it on the way down one morning, and my hand slipped down about a foot and I jammed my thumb. They should have some grip strips every 8 to 12 inches or so. Going up after rain you can’t even grip the railing because it is wet and slick, and you can’t hold on without your hand slipping. This is something they should attend to for safety reasons.

The property and grounds were well-kept. Upon arrival, we found the junior suite to be clean and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed having a separate living area and balcony. Also a good location for visiting the sights around the area.

Our room was not cleaned on day 2 or 3. Not a deal-breaker by any means. Just unexpected. We had no trouble getting clean towels or supplies upon request.

Convenient, nice room layout, great kitchenette (although we didn't use it) nice creaky rocking chairs on the patio, good location, easy in, easy out. Bed was very comfy, two air conditioners in room. Clean and comfortable.

I was given a "barrier free room" which we did NOT ask for. I emailed them and asked about why we were given one, but received no response. We just didn't want to take a handicapped room for someone who may have needed it. Also, when you clean the toilet, please clean COMPLETELY under the rim and just not part way around. While brushing my teeth, in the mirror it reflected, well, let's just say, something very not pretty! Repeated my name about four times upon check in.

Very quiet, clean, and comfy beds. Housekeeping kept the place clean and made up. Had fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Easy parking.

Only thing I could even suggest is a power strip. With families not enough outlets but we basically just used to sleep. Too much to do all day
