Courtyard by Marriott Lafayette South

Everything about this property was great! I’m not happy with Bookings.com. I called to explain that I had booked twice by mistake and was told that they would fix it. Within a day I found out that my friends had already booked rooms for us so I called back. I was told Courtyard needed to call or fax them with permission to cancel. I called Courtyard and they said that it was up to “Bookings” to reach out to the hotel, but they would see what they could do. When I arrived at the hotel they thought it was already taken care of but I have been charged twice on my American Express card! I have told my husband to exclude those charges when paying AmEx!

Everything! People were all friendly and professional and the rooms were great!

The room was comfortable and clean. Amenities are easy to access and seem well maintained.

I had to wait for several minutes at the front desk for check in and check out. There was a light bulb out in my room. The bathroom door overlapped with the toilet when open. The shower head sprayed a little wild. Because the bath products are mounted on the wall, I could hardly get any conditioner out of the pump bottle, even though it didn't look close to empty.

Love 2 king beds room was very spacious and very clean!! Conveniently located to several fast food and stores.

I didn’t like the $75 pet fee. My dog is hypoallergenic and doesn’t shed. She’s 4 lbs and potty trained. We checked in at almost 2am and were gone by 1050am.. $75 was a bit much considering my dog didn’t leave any issues behind, no potty in the floor, no hair, no smells, you couldn’t even tell I had a dog. This should be refundable for cases like this. And the price for the hotel was a bit price gouged due to so many being in town for concerts and events I don’t like when hotels increase their rates just because they can.

The location was easy to find and had access to nearby shopping & restaurants.

Had a problem with finding my reservations, I was told my name was in the system backwards: (my first name was entered as my last name.) Then with the confirmation # they took a while to still find the reservation.

I did not have breakfast there , but I think it’s in a great location.

The only thing I did not like was this one employee named Jessica she is very disrespectful and she was harassing me & the manager did nothing about it.

The rooms are spacious and contemporary i truly enjoyed my stay here.

The bathroom shower could have been cleaned a little better than it was. This is just me and to each his/her own.... ain’t nothing a little bleach spray couldn’t fix. However, its the Marriott and they need to di better.

Breakfast selection was awesome! Coffee was hot. Lots of choices and everything I tried was yummy.

Not a thing. In the future I’ll be going straight to the hotels. Your agents were not helpful at all!!!

Nice room and bathroom, very helpful staff. Bath water flow was excellent Ed was comfortable

Location is a bit in the outer of the city, but we had a car so it didn’t matter much

I paid for the breakfast included in my package had an issue cause the person that checked me in didn't see i paid for the breakfast also so we literally had to wait until he talked to someone else to confirm i paid already

Location was great. Very quiet considering the large amount of people staying at the time of our visit.

The parking was kinda tight in the front of the building.
