Holiday Inn Express Breaux Bridge, an IHG Hotel

Great location and much more reasonable price compared to similar places in Baton Rouge and La Fayette. Beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. Kids said the sofa bed was comfy too, which is rare for a sofa bed. Provided nice bath products and vanity kit. Breakfast was good and they had complimentary cookies the evening before. We also loved Momma the cat who was laying around the lobby and the front desk while were there. She was very sweet and let us give her lots of pets.

The only issue we ran into was were the cards for the door lock. When we first arrived and went up to the room, the card wouldn't work, so had to go back down to the front desk to get it recoded. The desk clerk gave us two new cards and when we tried it again, it again wouldn't work. After messing with it and trying it several time, the lock finally turned green. It seems like that particular door may have a janky or broken card reader. Other than that, no complaints.

I ended up here because my car stalled on the way to Houston. I was almost rear ended when my auto went into limp mode. Limp mode is when an auto slows itself from 80mph to 50mph to prevent catastrophic engine damage. I pulled off of the road and used booking.com to find a hotel. The staff was friendly and had a positive southern vibe. The room was clean and the breakfast was hot and delicious. We travel often and my teenager said that the breakfast variety was the best. The biscuits and gravy were a hit for my husband, my daughter loved the pancakes and I loved the coffee and chobani yogurt. Mary Ann was an marvelous host. She kept the tables clean after people left the area and was wonderful. We met a traveller in her 60's named Betty Ann who engaged me in conversation and bonded with my teenager once she came to breakfast after deciding to sleep in. It was a delightful morning to a terrible night. Being a part of booking made getting a room easy and convenient.

The parking lot was kind of difficult to park in. There seemed to be a lot of guest that were probably workmen because of the large pickups. On one end of the parking lot were a group of semis stacked upon each other. I wish I had taken a photo. I was not sure it if was hotel parking or another property. After about 5 minutes of driving around I found a space where I could park AND open the doors of my vehicle.

The desk staff was very pleasant and efficient, both checking in and checking out. The room was very clean and comfortable. At checkout, a to-go breakfast was provided, with ready to eat snacks that were perfect for the road. The hotel was very conveniently located, right on I-10, with gas stations and food near by. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would stay there again.

There wasn't anything that I had issues with. The hotel was lovely. The only problem we had was finding the driveway, which is through a restaurant parking lot. If you miss it, you will be back on the highway and the next exit is 5 miles.

The lady that handled the breakfast area is excellent. She is friendly and cordial. She is an excellent diplomat for your location. Breakfast selection was great. Pastries were very fresh versus another hotel we staid at on this trip. Keep up the good work in breakfast area. I like the way it is set up where the lady serves the eggs and sausage to keep the general public away from the hot food. Excellent idea I liked the comfortable bed. I like the heat/cool system that has a constant sound and not a start and stop where the whole wall shakes. Your unit has a constant sound. I like the three containers in the shower where you can grab what you need to shower. Excellent idea. Staff very friendly when we came in and out of hotel.

The staff is pleasant and the room was nice. The free breakfast was excellent generally although the egg white "omelets" were awful.

I have stayed here several times and this time for the first time they charged a pet fee. This fee was NOT mentioned on the booking.com information even though I specifically searched for a pet friendly hotel. The fee is called a deposit but it is nob-refundable.

Breakfast and cleanses. Workers were very friendly. Boss even asked if everything was ok big plus on meeting boss. The place was also quite and peaceful. All around environment was clean.

I was questioned about my deposit that was already taken cared of. That made me feel uncomfortable.

We liked that it was a good location,felt safe,and the workers and guests were considerate and friendly!! There were 2 live crawfish in the pool lol My lil one loved it!!

Really nothing I didn't like!! We will definitely come again!!

Location was easy, off the interstate. Room was clean and the pool area inviting. Staff was lovely. The outside looks quite modest but once you're inside, you'll be glad you chose this hotel.

Only one restaurant close by, but this isn't the fault of or in the hotel's control.

The staff was nice, and the rooms met our needs for traveling. rooms were cleaned every day. I was really impressed that they had security roaming the parking lot at night.

Finding the entrance was a bit of a pain as it's not marked well, I missed the turn into the parking lot and had to drive down the highway and tun around.

The hotel is trying really hard to make it a nice one. From the scarecrow decor outside for fall to the many many choices they are trying to offer for breakfast despite COVID. The price was a little more then I wanted to pay at $125 a night for an older property but overall I would stay again for sure.

The beds feel a little worn and the decor is dated but it was clean and smelled good
