Holiday Inn Express Middlesboro, an IHG Hotel

The young lady and young man working the front desk were superb, very welcoming, with great hospitality. She offered excellent suggestions for our visit to Cumberland Gap. His harmonica skills were entertaining. The facility was clean. The outdoor pool was well kept and had a beautiful view. The breakfast had many options. My kids favorite was the pancake making machine. If we are able to come back to the area, we would definitely book here again. In our week's vacation, we stayed at an Airbnb, 4 different Hiltons, a Sleep Inn, and this one. This Holiday Inn Express was our family's favorite stay.

.The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was great, time was broad enough to catch early bird husband as well as last minute me. A big selection, all at perfect temperatures whether hot food or cold. I just can't say enough, very pleased and am already recommending to family and friends .

Since I'm from the flat lands, I would have liked to look out of the window and see mountains which were across the street from the front of the hotel But the hotel is against a mountain and my room was on the backside of the building so I looked at a dirt wall outside of the window.

Going in I didn't expect much but wound up very impressed by this hotel. The facilities looked new or at least very well maintained, the room was extremely clean and comfortable. and the hot breakfast was outstanding. The personnel were friendly and helpful with the woman running the breakfast galley going around to each table to see if anyone needed anything else. Hotel is well-located on the main drag; close to restaurants and the Cumberland Gap NP.

Friendly staff

Pillows where so flat and uncomfortable. Pool was closed and weather was 86 outside no rain Comfort on bed was wrong size all the way till day before we left. Lady named Judy put the right size on for us other cleaners didn't even make the bed or check it for us

The staff was all pleasant to communicate with, and friendly. Breakfast was good

I noticed the TV turned off by itself when I had left it on during the night. Which, I thought was weird as I left it on for a reason and it gave me concern that someone somehow got into the room.

The best Holiday Express that I have ever stayed at.

Clean. Breakfast was second to none. The accommodations were Fantastic. Got a phone call from the Staff that an item was left in the room and was very courteous and accommodating. The Staff member taking care of Breakfast was Awesome. Very clean and accommodating.

The beds are very comfortable. The pillows were way comfortable. And the best breakfast that I've had anywhere in a long time. We also love the fact that he had death products for everything that you needed we didn't have to use any of the stuff that we brought.

We loved how friendly the staff was as well as how clean everything was. Breakfast was also amazing. The room and the place was just amazing.

We have no complaints, honestly. There isn't a thing we didn't like.

Pam and the other breakfast host were so friendly, Trish and Katherine in housekeeping so sweet. Front desk clerks Kayla and the gentleman were friendly. Clean rooms , well kept facilities.

Requested adjoining rooms but was not able to accommodate.

Very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping replaced towels every day. Breakfast was good. The pool was an especially nice feature. Shaded Cafe and Steakhouse, a mile or so away, was superb...don’t miss it! Had sirloin and shrimp one night and prime rib special the other, all was delicious.

Not much one could dislike. It’s located in a business area, so your not out in the country...but it’s convenient to lots of services.
