The front desk clerk John aka "A Mess" was amazing! From the time me and my family walked in he welcomed us with a big smile and warm and friendly personality. He was extremely helpful and professional with telling us about the facility and even recommended a great place for us to go for dinner near by. This was our first time staying at a Tru Hotel by Hilton and at this location. We will definitely be back and I hope John will be there to welcome us again! Keep up the exceptional customer service and job!

Extremely surprised. The hotel was very modern, minimalist, and clean. The downstairs area was wonderful for travel sports families to gather at after tournaments nearby. The breakfast was great and so was the coffee. Having a full food/snack/beverage counter like a mini convenience store in the lobby was wonderful as well. You have everything you could possibly need while staying here. I noticed staff cleaning all areas of the hotel multiple times a day and always felt clean which is saying something because I’m a neat freak and never feel comfortable at most hotels. Will absolutely be staying again.

I would have to be extremely picky to find something negative to write. I supposed my preference for sheets would have been standard cotton vs the silky texture because all of us were extremely staticky after sleeping in the bed. Literally the only thing I would change.

What wonderful hotel! Modern, updated, and it's kept spotless. All the staff we interacted with, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, were so pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay here when we return to the Louisville area!

The entire hotel was without water the morning after our first night due to a main water break in the area. This was no fault of the hotel, and the staff handled the situation as best as could be expected. They had bottled water available for free, breakfast was not affected at all, and they even offered to refund our next night so we could book at another hotel. We decided to wait until the afternoon to see if water was restored and it was! We were so happy to not have to move to another hotel for our second night. This is a wonderful hotel!

The breakfast was great. I enjoyed it very much.

No one told us when we registered that the rooms were not cleaned or new towels provided. We never did see the sign in the room we were later told about. We ended up with a big pile of dirty towels and a lot of trash. We asked the desk and they put us down to be cleaned but we're told there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. That was because by that time we had obtained clean towels and taken our dirty ones to the laundry ourselves. We also got garbage bags and cleaned up all the trash ourselves.

Super clean. AC worked incredibly well! Breakfast was great.

The most important thing about staying a night in a hotel is getting a good night's sleep. And the most important thing about a good night's sleep is a comfortable bed. Which is why I'll never understand why so many hotels, even nicer ones, insist on having mattresses that are hard as a rock! If I wanted to sleep on the floor I could do that somewhere for free. Come on, Tru, do better.

I love the hotel and all the ammenities

They messed up my account by charging me for a no show even though I was there, which they are supposed to have fixed but it hasn't been fixed yet. They had one of my rooms under a different name it was supposed to have been delelted or cancelled but I got charged for it anyway. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my refund.

The place was always clean and staff very nice and accommodating. I loved how the room had places for everything. It was nice with the hand soap and shower dispensers. The queen beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. Great room!

The only thing I can complain about is the rude kids running up and down the hallways while we were trying to sleep. It made it so hard to get up at 5 and play 3 volleyball games 3 days in a row. Thank goodness for the fan loud enough to drowned out most of the noise.

I left early in the morning before the buffet opened, and since I'm vegan I knew there would be very little I could eat. I drove 13 hours from Florida that day, so I pretty much just wanted to relax in my room after checking in. I still appreciated the smart layout of the hotel - pool table, multiple TVs with different College Football games on, snacks, beer and wine available, and the ice machine and filtered water all right there. I truly appreciate the smart innovating of new ideas like the soap and lotion dispensers that substantially cut down on waste

There really is nothing that comes to mind. The person who checked me in explained where things were and the hotel lobby/general area was neat and clean

The location was pretty easy to get to and it was around services, restaurants, and shopping. The property and the room were very clean. Parking was available and pretty plentiful.

The price for the room seemed high compared to other similar properties, but the cleanliness seemed to warrant much of that. Check-in and -out took a little extra time. It seemed that the individuals were, perhaps, in training without someone overseeing them. Not bad though.

The lady in the breakfast area and check out. Great breakfast, room clean bed was comfortable nice shower. Nice to have enough hanging bars.

We had only 1 wash cloth for 2 people Surprised for a handicap room there was a tub not a walk in/roll in shower. Lighting around sink awful and dark.
