Holiday Inn Express Louisville Airport Expo Center, an IHG Hotel

Very nice hotel that seemed to be well-maintained. Staff was very friendly and welcoming

The only disappointment was the breakfast supplies and breakfast room staff. The breakfast was very good - when it was available. We stayed two nights and there was no juice either morning, no milk one morning, the attendant was opening single serve cereals and dumping them into a bulk dispenser (seems expensive and wasteful for your hotel), and the cinnamon roles (that we really looked forward to) were burnt, dry and crispy on the outside. Don't know whether they were freezer burned or cooked wrong. Also, the roles were not refilled with over an hour left for breakfast one morning. Over all, a minor annoyance, but this took some of the luster off of our visit.

We loved the room, it was simple, spacious, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed was wonderful, we woke up refreshed. Breakfast was nice and had an array of options. Our room was on the backside facing the interstate but you couldn’t tell at all.

When we woke up our room had a slight moist feeling to it, and I could tell on our clothes that there was a bit more moisture in the air than normal. The breakfast was lacking the pancake machine, as the sign said it was not working. So there were no waffles or pancakes. The other items did make up for the lack of pancakes, but I was looking forward to them for sure. We also had to hunt someone down to obtain a refill on the milk.

The staff were nice and helpful, the breakfast was good the room was clean, spacious and location was good for what we were there for. Convenient. Thank you and we'll stay again if we are in town again.

The only thing we found needs improvement or fixing was the shower stall grab/handle for safety issue and vent/exhaust needed to be cleaned. We had a good stay even though there were guests across our room or corridor who were a little loud late night, but our room was close to ice machine and elevator. We'll ask next time for a room away from either locations :) We didn't know . Thank you.

I got a king room and it was bigger than I thought I'd be. I always take Lysol wipes on trips but when I used them in this room they came up clean. Which, sadly never happens so that was very impressive! Breakfast is great when you go before 8am, only because of the crowds. Staff was very nice and helpful! I room definitely stay here again.

The staff was so incredibly friendly! I wish that I had asked for the names of the women on duty on Saturday night 10/16 and Sunday morning 10/17 because they were both so easy to talk with! My Saturday night attendant moved me away from the big wedding party because she saw how tired I was and upgraded me to a king bedroom away from the highway free of charge! Sunday morning she was so sweet and got me out the door quickly! My room was super tidy, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Not too far out of downtown and got to drive through pretty neighborhoods close by when heading to and from the hotel. I chose this hotel chain because I know that they consistently are what I'm looking for and I certainly was not disappointed!

Overhead lightbulb in the bathroom was burning out and flickering, wasn't a major issue and I let the front desk know so that they could get it fixed. Also there was a big wedding party that I could hear faintly in my room, but they seemed to quiet down shortly after I got to my room.

The decor for the room was very modern, almost felt like a Hilton. I liked the dove branded products in the bathroom instead of tiny wasteful bottles. Plenty of parking, but it was slightly noisy at night given the close proximity to the highway. Breakfast selection was decent.

The overuse of plastic and styrofoam at breakfast so heartbreaking!

It was cool.. staff was nice and respectful. I would stay there again.

Didn't like that rooms was canceled and hotel and app dont communicate.. and I didnt recieve a physical or E copy of receipt.. to tell if I have to pay full price or prorated for the time that I got there. But lesson learned. College football time change times and it effects travel and booking..

My family and I stopped here to rest from our road trip back to Michigan after our Florida vacation. It had everything we need in a hotel. The room was clean, the wifi was good and the breakfast was excellent. We loved that the room had a microwave and the Keurig with K-cups was a nice bonus. We will stay here again!

The moment we checked into the property, we felt welcomed. Easy and quick check-in, with friendly front staff. The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious with so many options between sausage, egg omlets, delicious cinnamon buns, make your own pancakes, and so much more. The staff serving breakfast were super nice and made us feel like family vs guests. The cleaning crews in the hallways always had a smile on their faces and greeted us. This hotel was close to the zoo only 5min drive. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Louisville with kids or even by yourself. We will definitely be back next trip to Louisville!

The beds were comfortable and staff was friendly. The free breakfast was nice, lots of food choices.

The location was hard to get to, the pool had short times available to swim and the staff enforced the closing to the minute. The room was very warm and couldn’t get it to cool down even with adjusting the thermostat. Even the hallways were warm.
