Microtel Inn and Suites Independence

I always come to stay here when I have to stay a few extra days and they always accommodate my needs. Last time I didn’t have a refrigerator in my room and they put me in a different room. My other room was nice, but tv didn’t have sound. It was late night and I didn’t want to bother them and told them about it the next morning. I’ll stay here again, which I will be staying a little more throughout the year. Always friendly staff and it’s nice to see them have a smile. Thanks again and see you soon!!

The room was quite nice and quiet, even being on the ground floor. Check-in was quick.

Breakfast was a bit sparse - the usual waffles were available and even an automated pancake maker! However, the only other 'hot' items a sausage and egg 'bar' - tasted and looked strange but no repercussions. Juice, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cereal and milk available.

The front desk staff went above and beyond to honor my request for a ground floor room. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Located right in front of a Wal-Mart, which is great if you happen to forget to pack something. Window seat was a nice touch.

Lack of available plug-in outlets by the beds. Outlet on one side did not have a table so I could plug in my phone. Also, hard to get to the plug-in by the desk; had to get on the floor to plug in my laptop. Very humid in the room, felt sticky. Not sure if that was due to recent rains or not.

I come to stay there at times for work and a few know me. I’m always treated good and I enjoy the staff at the front desk this time that I came. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!! I had a double Queen room and I wish there was a coffee maker in the room. Otherwise, I was very pleased with my visit. ❤️

Towels in bathroom were a little thin and small.

The location. It was right in front of Walmart so that was awesome. on the main highway. The staff were very kind and helpful. we enjoyed our stay.

it was nice and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

The lady that checked us in was excellent, the room was spotless, ac worked great and beds were great. The simplicity of the room design made it feel spacious.

Not a problem but the Directv remote control wasn't working until we discovered the Directv box was enclosed and the small window to the control box required pointing the remote directly in font of the box. The tv was also too high for comfortable watching.

I really appreciated all the services offered and how convenient my room access was once we got there. Its hard traveling alone with a 2 year old and i feel they made it easy for us to get to our room quick and easy, so i appreciated that! Very accommodating and definitely will be using for our next stay!

Very clean, comfortable, nice room! Staff was very friendly! Location was great! We will stay here again.

Our room was straight across from the ice machine and one door from the breakfast. We heard every bucket of ice and quite a few rude people talking and laughing loudly right outside our door all night and very early in the morning.

It had a weird smell in the room, so I had to change rooms.

The facility was nice and clean, a light breakfast was available. Microwave available and coffee. A bathtub and shower combination.
