It was well located with easy acces to gas station, highways, and restaurants.

Room above mine was very noisy. I could hear people in it walking. Another point, I made and paid my reservation using booking.com. The morning of my departure from the hotel I was having my breakfast in the lobby when my credit card alerted me about another charge from the hotel I have already paid for. I walked to the helpdesk and informed the clerck about what I have noticed. He told me that it was an error. But a day after my checkout I have not received my refund yet.

When booking, I was a little surprised at the rate… higher than we wanted. But, I am SO happy, that we ultimately chose this Avid location. It was intended to just be a sleep stop, but in the morning ended up walking the dog to historic Sioux City… what a treat! Yes, they accept dogs. :) The breakfast was wonderful, lots of options. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. We recommend.

No elevator in the back. So either need to lug your bags upstairs if not on ground floor and in the back, or load through lobby, up elevator and walk to back. Not a huge deal overall, but an improvement that would have made it more perfect.

breakfast was great. I loved it. i was in town for the expo pool tournament and the shuttle service was on point. they were always there when i called them. love the joyful happiness each driver had. all the staff was very helpful with suggestions on what was good locally.

The rooms were very dry. the bed and pillows were great. just the room was so stale. otherwise every part of the room was great. bathrooms were good

That let us use the lobby to entertain family members. Beds were very comfortable.

Ice salt was on ground and got tracked into room, Did not get cleaned for 3 days. Ran out of body wash 2 day and did not get refilled had to go to desk where I picked up soap and towels because they possibly did not work on New Year’s Day. Never seen anyone. Snowed a couple times and lot was not cleaned.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff! They met my requests that I asked them to do when I booked the rooms.

The tile floors in the room. They are cold most of the time. Getting out of the shower dirt or whatever is on the floor sticks to your nice clean feet. Continental Breakfast isn't very good....not much to choose from either.

I enjoyed this place for three nights. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated how the room was laid out. It was mostly very quiet and I got good sleep! The breakfast was simple but very adequate.

I think I liked everything. I felt very comfortable at this place.

I had a reservation checked in after 11 pm. The front desk clerk said I did not have a reservation. I told her I did and showed her my confirmation. She said sometimes the computer messes up. I then asked her if she could help us find another place in town. She said I will have you step back and help this guy get registered. I told her I was there first and she could help me. I then asked her how she was going to check him in if there were not any rooms available. She told me that he had a reservation. I then told her I did too and showed her my email and confirmation number. She finally gave us a room. Just typing this it still upsets me!!!!!

Nice motel. My room was clean and comfortable. Except I had a disabled room not regular room. Shower was good and great internet. Okay breakfast. Might come back again. Thanks.

Only thing don't like was there was no refrigerator and microwave in the room. Couldn't keep my drinks cold. Blackouts drapes were not dark to me in the room.

Our room was so clean! The gal at the desk this morning was busy tending to guests checking out, answering the phone, and restocking breakfast items. She remained pleasant and helpful even when it got hectic. We appreciated the phone call earlier in the day asking if we needed anything upon our arrival.

The coffee could have been stronger. (Personal preference.)

Our event was at the Tyson Event Center so the location of this hotel is fantastic. The Avid concept is minimialist. So if you are looking for fancy then go pay for that somewhere else. We enjoy the hotel because its modern and easy to get to.

Over all is a clean hotel. I've been here twice and the bathroom floor could be cleaner. My only complaint. And the breakfast is decent. But not 5 stars.
