The breakfast was great, and it was nice being able to have a few GF things! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

The only thing was the outside. The website noted that there was going to be construction outside. Other than that, our stay was fantastic. We will be staying again when we coming back to town!

I was not pleased with the staff. The gentleman who checked me in would not take my gift cards. He said you do that at check out. The Sunday he could not take them Now I have to call. TV we couldn't get to work. Front desk did help but took a while. Channel guide needs to be updated

This Hampton is in the ideal location for travelers who want the convenience of Chicago or the Lake Michigan beachfront without the prices or the risks inherent in staying in an urban location. It is a mere 20 minute drive north to the public beach in New Buffalo, Michigan. It is a 10 minute drive into Michigan City to catch the South Shore railroad for an excursion into Chicago or in my case, to the Indiana Dunes state park. There are any number of restaurants in the area, both fast food and sit-down Most offer delivery to the hotel via Doordash. The hotel is sufficiently off-road that vehicle security is fairly high; the parking area is also very well lit.

The front of the hotel faces the Indiana Toll Road, so traffic noise for north- and west-facing rooms is a constant. While I was there, the elevator was inoperable so I got to schlep luggage (luckily on wheels) up and down stairs.

Staff did not give any types of instructions or information about the amenities. I was not told there wouldn’t be any daily housekeeping

The staff was excellent. The front of the hotel was under construction but the staff helped us out and made it easy to understand where to go. The room was clean and quiet. Super big and clean

Housekeeping didn’t come in to clean the room after the 1st night. Elevator was broken. Hot tub wasn’t working. The older lady at the front desk was rude and condescending. No continental breakfast. Even though our entire team was vaccinated no one could gather in the lobby to enjoy time together. But since we really just slept here it was fine.

The location was good, the room was very clean, and the hot breakfast was delicious. My favorite part of my stay was the window view of the pond.

Staff was amazing!! Kind people 🙂 Parking lot was well lit at night. Made me feel safe. The room.......OMG it was perfect!! So clean, great job cleaning staff. The king size bed was so soft I felt at home. All the plug-ins available in the room can make a person jump for joy. Lol! It was the total package. I will be going back forsure.🙂🙂🙂

Booking.com is advertising rooms with garden tubs. I picked the hotel for that reason. They don't have them anymore but it continues to get advertised by other companies like Booking.com. The staff was very kind to let me know that I could have a full refund if I wanted to go somewhere else.

Clean and convenient to our purpose for being in the area. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great as well

Only issue was the internet. I signed into the guest site but for some reason I could never get my emails of Facebook entries to load. They need to work on that and get a booster if possible.

Clean room. Nice pool.

They broke breakfast down early everyday. My key card locked Me out every time I left the room. They had to recharge it every time!
