Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hammond, an IHG Hotel

Shout out to every single staff member from front desk, kitchen, to housekeeping. So friendly and courteous- it goes a long way. Also, the breakfast was on point!!! Plus, it was an awesome price and the place was clean and updated. You can tell it was updated as there are remnants of the "old-ness" but the rooms are updated, beds comfortable, and shower comfortable. I loved the ample seating and lighting yes, very good. I will stay here again and recommend it, yes.

The design of the bathroom door needs to be re-done. The idea was nice but not practical as there was a pretty good gap where it was supposed to close...thankfully we were all family.

As always the location is great staff is great and they recognize me by face and name.

This property when opened 2 yrs ago was magnificent. The property is slowly declining. All of the fixtures where missing or broken off example the wall where you would hang up jackets those were missing the safety secure for tge entrance door was broken off the wall lamps were disrupted where the were hanging the plug socket had been separated from the wall there was a hole in the wall on the side of the bed and the fixtures that hold the bath soap shampoo conditioner was broken. I made the front desk aware soon as I arrived and no they did not offer to switch my rooms. It feels as though this facility is used now as longterm housing for guest not as a vacation spot away from home and they are unable to keep up the property

Breakfast was more than I expected the staff went over board and I explained to him that I didn't eat pork he suggested that he cook me turkey pattie and insist to do he was very pleasant to talk with and he made sure that he greeted every customer that enter his presence the breakfast was cooked to perfection is was the right temperature just everything was excellent it was very clean nothing was out of place he was genuinely nice

Comfortable and clean, large room too! Nice view and good location. Good warm breakfast but need to add some gluten free/ grain free choices

Coffee pot in room but no creamers and fridge had no freezer part.More variety on channels. Although this is a non smoking building sometime in hallway smelled like smoke and pot smokers outside building would come into building

Breakfast was good. The cinnamon rolls were excellent. Everything was great,im from the area and usually stay with family in Highland Ind, but there were other people in for the same event so the location was perfect for us.

The bathroom door, there's a gap.

I was able to toast a bagel and make a sausage patty breakfast - that was really nice. It was super convenient to the interstate, and I was able to make a last minute reservation/get a room.

I was shocked at the cost. I still haven't figured out how to get a printed receipt - the hotel wouldn't give me one, and that freaking sucks.

Stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Location was easy to get to. Parking was well lit. Easy to check in and out of hotel. Room was clean. All things that would make me stay there again on my next trip.

Good value for New Year's Eve and it was only like 15 minutes from the casino. I liked the free breakfast too.

The pool needed to be cleaned. Water was legit ankle deep on the entire perimeter of the pool area. There were no dry areas to leave your shoes or belongings. I ended up not swimming. There were also way too many people (unmasked) in the pool. Also, the elevators floors were wet too. Granted, it was New Year's Eve and there were a lot of families there with lots of kids. This is probably not the norm at this hotel.
