Radisson Hotel Schaumburg

The breakfast was very good the variety assured we were not bored with the food over our week stay. We truly enjoyed the pool and the staff was helpful. The pool was very well maintained, plenty of towels and tanning chairs: the environment was inviting

I thought it was a Radisson as in the chain but arrived and learned that was not the case. The cleaning was only once every 3 days but they cleaned it as soon as I indicated I wanted the room cleaned. The room, especially the bathroon was weather worn. The bathtub/shower is in desperate need of replacement.

Location and it was quiet.

Limited staff available during our stay presumably because of the holiday. There was only one staff member present and often there was a sign posted that the front desk attendant would be back soon. The water was extremely hot, So caution needed to used when washing hands or bathing. The outdoor trash cans were overflowing and some trash had blown onto the front grounds area. Once again it had to be due to the limited staff. The desk attendant basically had to cover several positions, but he was very nice and maintained to the best of his ability.

The property was well kept, clean and the staff was excellent. The rooms were comfy and clean and had everything I needed The cable worked great and there was plenty of hot water and towels. The staff was masked (thank you). There were coffee pods in the room, coffee at breakfast and throughout the day. It is easy access to the expressway to get to the city and main street to other attractions, but it was quiet.

I cannot really think of anything negative to say about the property.

I didn't like so much that the room was very small as soon as you open the door there was the bathroom sink. I didn't like the fact that there was no paid cable channels everything was local but there was a large variety of channels just not the good paying ones. The location was good not far from a lot of food areas within a 3-mile distance but if you had planned on going to the city Chicago plan on that ride to be at least 30 to 35 minutes for traffic and don't forget the highway that you're at is a toll Highway.

Good location, friendly staff, quiet, and comfy bed. Nice having a fridge and microwave in the room.

Needs some updating. The elliptical was really old but functional. The first room they gave me wasn’t cleaned yet so they gave me another one right away and bigger. The phone didn’t work. I tried calling the front desk for over an hour and kept getting a busy signal so I went down and he wasn’t busy or on the phone. I only saw housekeeping cleaning common areas and they never cleaned my room.

The hotel is overall better than I expected. Rooms have a microwave as well as a refrigerator. They have a nice lobby and there is a pool and a bar and 7-11 next door.

There is still no breakfast of any kind. I wonder how much longer the covid excuse will be used to avoid providing breakfast. Also the cable TV did not work and I was moved to another room, but that should be an unusual case.

It was beautiful and the location was perfect. The staff was very nice.

Only one elevator working. Bar and restaurant were not open yet. Only have two carts for baggage and could not find them at checkout.

I got very sick Friday night and ended up having to leave early. when my husband explained what was going on they refunded our entire stay. i really appreciate their thoughtfulness when they really didn’t have to do that. I will definitely book with them again.

I liked the friendly staff people that welcomed us with kindness and were efficient. The bed was very comfortable and appreciated a warm shower.

We did not like the fact that the room smelled a little weird when entering. Maybe like an old stuff smell? The floor in front of the bathroom sink was sticky and the service on the tv was spotty.

Comfortable rooms, good layout and friendly staff. This property is a converted Holiday Inn, but the rooms have been upgraded as beds are firm. Nice touch with working Kerig coffee and tea in rooms.

Refrigerator inside cabinet ran as loud as a plane landing at O'Hare non-stop. I travel with prepared meals so I was faced with either unplugging or complaining to staff. Luckily I only stayed for one night. TV /satellite wasn't working either, but not a big deal :)
