Gentleman at front desk was friendly and so knowledgeable about the town. Very happy with his town- could have worked for the Chamber of Commercer!! Clean, bright place. Comfortable rooms and beds. Good water pressure in the shower, and nice hot water! Great reading lights on the headboard and plenty of outlets

A nit ..fan in bathroom was noisy, and the nightlight was burnt out Nothing really. All good

Staff were excellent breakfast was great. There was some minor repairs that were needed to outside building. But overall great place to stay, very friendly

The night desk clerk, Xavier, spent half an hour untangling the mess I caused by making my reservation through a booking service and typing in the wrong dates. it involved helping me navigate the booking service’s on line site as well as a couple of phone calls. in the end it all turned out well. Xavier remained patient, professional, and pleasant throughout.

Breakfast grab and go options were nice - was good to see things like microwavable breakfast sandwiches - however I would have liked to see something like a fruit bowl or more low-carb options. The beds in the room are comfortable, no complaints there. I love the larger work area and office chair, always a plus. Like how the room has USB charging ports in the walls and lamps, very convenient. The staff is all great, very friendly and willing to explain anything. During this pandemic, being greeted with enthusiasm and a smile is always a plus. Overall it's a quiet hotel - didn't hear my neighbors much and no one seemed to be having loud parties, so good noise proofing. Finally, I LOVE the location! I come to Rochelle, IL for one thing (well maybe 2) - the Railroad Park. Yes, I can spend a whole day there just watching the UP and BNSF fright trains go by. So yeah, the hotel being less than a mile from there, and lots of great take out places (that do the whole pandemic thing well) nearby -- overall this property is a favorite for me.

Certain areas of the building just seem old and dingy. Example, the elevators. The main one is OKAY, going to all 8 floors, but it smells funny, looks and feels old, and reeks of hydraulic fluid, usually a sign that the elevator may have issues. I know they get inspected, but still I would think it's time to consider an overhaul. The 2nd elevator in the back of the hotel only goes to floor 5. Kind of odd too. Finally, the TVs in the rooms could use an upgrade. They all seem to be old 720p SANYO 32" TVs with ANALOG cable. Uh, that would be fine if this was the year 2002. I'm a techno geek and having updated technology is a must to me. Finally, certain areas of the hotel reeked like bad weed (pot) - including that smaller elevator that only goes to floor 5.

Property was vey clean. And yes I have a lot of issues with this with other hotels which make me not to even wanna stay a hotel anymore. Very clean and staff very friendly. Highly recommended

Close enough to the expressway. Very clean. Receptionist called me in my room after I arrived to make sure that my room was satisfactory.

My husband indicated that when he left In the morning the girls at the desk did not acknowledge him until he was opening the door to go out and then they said bye. I guess they were busy talking Behind the desk. My husband is a real people person so he wanted to engage in conversation. I am an introvert so I don’t need to engage and am happy with a smile. The night before when we checked in the person checking in was engaging/ friendly, so my husband was happy With her.

Beds are super comfortable, easy access and close to the things we needed

little patios could be updated but all in all great place for the price!
