Super 8 by Wyndham Rexburg

The room was very comfortable and felt like home away from home, the pool area was wonderful and the breakfast was very tasty. The staff were above and beyond friendly checking in and out and while we are staying there. We look forward to relaxing in our room during the day and at night. It was also a bonus that it was within walking distance of the University, the Temple, and eating and relaxing places all around us. With a car you can explore 25 minutes away beautiful sand dunes, Idaho Falls and a little further many beautiful sites (the Tetons, Yellowstone and more).

There really wasn’t anything that we didn’t like

We were there mostly during sleeping hours and found that the room was a little bit noisy as it faced the main street and was by a stop light. I think a room on the South side would have been quieter. The air conditioner worked well which was great because it was a hot week, The breakfast was excellent. I was glad I took a try to take ours back to the room as the eating area is small and there was a tour bus group staying there also. Staff kept breakfast food well stocked and there was a nice selection.

Fridge was very noisy and I unplugged it overnight. Staff said they would take care of it when I brought it to their attention at checkout. Need more plugins in the rooms.

For the price it offered about what I expected.

I paid EXTRA for a room with a spa tub...but it was NOT AS ADVERTISED. They had removed the spa mechanism so no JETS!!!! It was a very deep tub and that was good, but I was still disappointed. Need to keep advertisers/third parties updated on changes. Additionally, there were 2 doors in my room which were bolted but still had the handle to open; one was apparently to the gym and I heard the handle jiggled twice. If you don't use the door, block it with furniture, while still allowing doorknobs to be jiggled in the wee hours of the morning, maybe, just maybe you should REMOVE THE DOOR altogether. I don't like waking up suddenly to strangers trying to open my door and jumping out of my skin in a strange bed. Not a fan of it.

I liked that there was breakfast available. The staff was friendly. It was very quiet. The location in town was very good.

We didn't realize we had to ask for clean towels. We always got in late at night after being gone all day. By the third night I thought they might have brought clean towels. Next time I know just to ask.

The heater worked well and I liked that they didn't service my room every day it made my travel easier. I went to the front desk if I needed anything like towels or extra cups. Very helpful staff!

I didn't really like the pillows. They were very squishy and to soft.

The room was comfortable for our needs, and we had plenty of space (we both pack pretty light). Everything was clean and well stocked.

I was a little cold at night and maybe could have done with a thicker blanket. I didn't know where the thermostat was, so I didn't change the room temperature (that was my bad).

Amount of plug ins and the clock could charge your devices.

Breakfast was ok but same kind of food everyday. The 2nd day when we got there in the rain the back door wouldn't unlock with our key and neither would our room.

Nice room, clean and spacious

We were in the ground floor and the people above us on second floor thought it was ok to walk around thumping their feet on the floor until 1.45am keeping me awake!! Not the hotels fault.

Staff and maintenance were super nice. They were very accommodating. We had 3 rooms together on the bottom floor.

The hot tub was broken! Not the fault of the hotel at all. The heating element was broken. The pool was really to cold for comfort. Being an indoor pool without the sun beating down they need to turn up the heat. Also should be a pet friendly hotel. We would like to stay here again, but wee are usually traveling with our dog.

It was comfortable. It was clean for the most part. Hotel staff were friendly.

No towel rack near the sink or a soap.dish. There were stains on the bed spread. The rooms are noisy. You can hear all the other guests around you.
