VIVE Hotel Waikiki

I absolutely love my experience here!I stayed the majority of my time at the Moana Surf rider this time while in hawai, however I decided to stay an extra day to get a very spiritual tattoo on my birthday. I could have chosen to stay at the Moana again, but I chose to go to a more boutique style hotel at a more affordable price. The staff was so nice. It was amazing and my friend called ahead of time and they surprised me with a very nice birthday surprise/welcome. Which by the way she tried to get moana surf rider to do- Which they didn't do over the four days we were there lol. Both hotels were great But if you're looking for a more intimate home like comfortable environment this is your place! Not to mention the breakfast! It was absolutely amazing with all of the fruit the muffins and the delicious bacon! Not to mention Twenty four hour beverages on the house! Needless to stay when I come back I will bring my family and we will most likely stay here. It's literally 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. Also, the rooms and showers are super spacious and can honestly fit my whole family in both. Give FIVE a try!

The hotel is located in Waikiki (second row), it only takes you a few minutes to walk to Waikiki beach and many Waikiki restaurants. The hotel also offers free beach gear such as towels, beach umbrellas and beach mats. Our room fee also included a solid breakfast with fresh fruit. You can also get coffee and water in the hotel lobby all day. The staff at the reception desk is very friendly and well-trained. Valet-parking is - compared to other hotels in Waikiki - rather cheap and very efficient.

You have to keep in mind that the hotel is located in an older building and the rooms' furniture is a bit old-fashioned. The rooms do not have balconies. Without a balcony, towels and bathing suits stay wet and do not become properly dry over night. As the hotel is in Waikiki, there is a lot of noise from the traffic which you can hear in the rooms, also at night.

it was right in the heart of everything! steps away from the beach, amazing eating spots within walking distance, and it really feels like the staff is watching out for you, especially solo travelers!

Loved you location, and the use of beach supplies for waikiki beach. The breakfast was the best and offered so many choices. I also loved having access to coffee/tea/water all day. Your staff were amazing, always friendly and when I needed help with my walker were more than willing to assist. It is also on TheBus route, which we took to go everywhere, and that was super helpful.

the only criticism is the small room, two of us were staying in the twin and with my walker in the middle of the extra space, it made it tight, but we were only in there for sleeping and so that didnt present any problem.

Very guest-oriented staff, very obliging and friendly! Nice and clean room, good location, good breakfast. In comparison to same class hotels like Hilton Garden Inn and Park Shore (I visited all three in May/June 22) by far better. Likely the best value for money in Waikiki. Full recommendations!

VIVE Hotel is amazing, I had the best time. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. My room was clean and spacious and had a gorgeous view. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

excellent location at Waikiki beach, within a couple of minutes of beach and promenade street as well as close to zoo, some of the shopping centers, great restaurant choices and a great and lively neighborhood with good public transportation connections. Very friendly and helpful staff, fresh breakfast choices, free coffee all day long, as well as water in the lobby area, comfortable and clean rooms, great value for money compared to other neighboring hotel choices.

2 bottles of water were provided in the room, but they came at a charge of 1,50 USD each (usually hotels give a bottle of water which is complementary); breakfast choices were the same each day (fresh fruits was great), but it lacked a greater variety

I arrived early. And the staff was exceptional, I remember Roger introducing himself. My husband, my daughter and my arrived later... vacation was was super excellent!!!!!!. We are blue collar workers, and have to be careful with $ It was our 25 anniversary and my daughter's first with our adorable son law. Cleaning staff A+ the room was small but that's what we paid for. Right across the street is 3 places to eat... All were excellent. Hey we went to some very expensive places.... fyi these were JUST AS GOOD. I love the take and go breakfast. I have medication I have to take in the morning and I can't eat in the morning ... so I could grab breakfast an eat it later. So I was glad I could leave ... or stay at the lobby. Ok the place was really great. I so appreciate the extra time and effort. If was great experience, first time in Hawaii. I hope it's not may last. Totally recommend Vive..... husband left his wedding band in the room and they e-mailed right away; I had purchased him a new one during our trip- that's why the old one was left behind... STAFF +++++ rooms ++ I love HAWAII;; one staff member called a cab ....escorted me to the 2nd floor and spoke to the cab driver about my travel.. Seemed like he was super protective and I didn't under stand it at the time, I don't have his name, but it felt like he went over what his job required. And I do not have his name. Just some virtual hugs (((((())))) To Roger as well (((())) and the other cleaning staff, and valet that were so kind.. (((((()))))) of now for the oh no.. they dropped chocolate candy that doe not expire until JULY 2021 as a treat. This is bad. Stop it. Open up a box and you will see... over all A rating and that is because of people and .... oh I forgot..
