The pool was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was huge. It was across from St. Mountain Park. Wifi was decent. The staff was nice and helpful.

B'fast was not enjoyable. A lot of maintenance work is needed. See pictures. The cleaning staff left the trash outside the strip of rooms we were in for two days we were there. I am handicapped and unfortunately the elevator was out of service which meant I would have to try to walk up the stairs to the breakfast area to participate.

We loved the convenient location, the staff were super nice, friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and fast. We were even able to go to our room early. We will stay there again.

When we got to our room the twin size trundle did not have sheets and had chip crumbs on the trundle mattress but housekeeping was just outside the room and cleaned that up quickly and provided us with sheets for the beds. The only true complaint that I had was that housekeeping did not look behind the nightstand and clean. There was candy and trash behind it. And also toys and chips under the twin bed when you pulled out the trundle the kids found the trash and toys. But other than that the room seemed clean. The bathroom was clean.

Spacious rooms, location, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff

Mattresses not comfortable on sofa beds; had to go to desk to get bedding for one of the sofa beds; breakfast options were okay, but have stayed places with more items available

Liked that hotel was within the park, close to activities and at same time outside restaurants where not far. Our double room /bathroom was pretty spacious , ac very cold, comfortable beds, great discount on daily attraction tickets for staying at the Inn, that was nice.

Didn't like that housekeeping had to be requested and not done daily. I was not informed at check in and my room was not cleaned. I was only there for 2 nights. I had to ask for clean towels to housekeeping lady I saw in hallway. Nice historical inn but rooms need an upgrade and $20 parking fee should be waived for hotel guests.

I was afraid to book this hotel after all of the negative reviews. But it wasn't that bad. The room was dated but clean and spacious. There are no amenities at the Inn hotel, but we were allowed to go to the Resort up the street and use their amenities instead. It was like booking the resort at a cheaper price but had to sleep at the Inn. Also, the park is walking distance across the street!

The only things I did not like was the loud ac unit. It kept me up at night. The hot water didn't work in the tub. But that was fine because the temp outside was over 95 and the cool water felt good.

Spacious room within walking distance to the activities. The bathrooms are big too. The staff was very nice. The pool was big enough so everyone had plenty of room to swim and the deep side was labeled 8'. I saw deer every morning. Didn't have a mosquito or bug problem. Everything in the room worked as it should. Overall we all had a great time and would stay again.

The mattresses had a foam layer with the mattress and weren't very comfortable but everything else made up for that. The building needs upkeep and was probably a real showplace when it was built. The pool needed vacuuming. No microwave in the two rooms my family stayed in, don't think it was labeled under amenities but it would be nice to have. With newer and better quality mattresses, it would be closer to a 5/5.

Right across the street from the attractions, and you could see the majority of the light show from the upper levels, staff was awesome, price and location were excellent. Just being next to the entrance is an A-plus stay. Room was clean', nice aura and feel of contentment in the complex.

Have to say that according to them security reasons the sliding glass doors were closed for non use . Really not happy about not being able to sit outside our room in the patio area. This applied to first floor occupancy and I believe it should have been listed on your booking site.

Everything was good except for having to pay an "Incidentals" fee of $150.00. This was never mentioned before or after booking. You wanted the money right then, but will slow walk returning the monies to my account. Please mention this in your booking page(s). For some, it may not have been possible to pay this and then wait. I and others I'm sure, would appreciate this info up front.

The surprise "Incidental" fee. My fridge didn't work so I couldn't buy drinks, nor did you have vending machines so was very thirsty at times.

Hotel has a lot of charm, beautiful lobby. Large rooms with balcony. We had five people in the party and we were able to stay in the same room and have Christmas, brought a small tree and gifts. Beds were ok we had to bring a queen air mattress but it fit no problem. You can see Stone Mountain from the parking lot and activities are right across the street. Buy tickets from Groupon and you will save a lot. There is a one time parking fee of 20 which you would pay to go to Stone Mountain for one day. If your plan is going to the park this is a convenient place to stay.

Not a lot of amenities. There is a pool but it was closed during the winter. It was so cold that a main line pipe broke and we were moved to the other hotel in the park. That transition wasn’t too bad they did the best they could to provide accommodations for everyone that was at Stone mountain inn to move to Evergreen lake Resort.

There was only a continental breakfast each morning from 7-10 but it was a nice one though no hot foods. The last time we stayed here they had hot foods and you could even have dinner in the evenings served in the restaurant. I think because Marriott owns the Inn they would rather guest go to their other motel and convention center 5 miles away on the same property to buy meals all day long. My understanding is Marriott is losing their contract sometime this year of controlling the Stone Mountain Inn. Where we stayed had a very large room with 2 double beds and a couch that opened up to a bed....3 times the size of your average motel room.

The swimming pool was not available for the 3 days and 2 nights we were there as they had put chemicals in it the day before we arrived on a Friday. I don't know why the chemical treatment could not have been done on the previous Monday for instance.
