Alpine Valley Inn

Location and cleanliness. Raj, the owner is fantastic, knows the local area well and made great recommendations for local fare. This location is perfect for walking to all areas in Helen, nothing more than a mile away. Be smart, park your car and walk. Raj has been remodeling and everything looks great. The rooms are super clean, especially the bathrooms. Very important for weary travelers. do not have enough room here to say all the good things about this place and the hotel.

Nothing bad to say about the place. All was excellent and no issues.

Everything was great from the moment we arrived to when we left. Clean towels and sheets supplied when requested without hesitation. Decent selection on a continental breakfast. And well within walking distance of everything to enjoy in town. Mondays was right behind the hotel making easy access for bar activities. Mini golf right behind that! This was my honeymoon hotel and I will ABSOLUTELY stay again! Thank you Alpine Valley for having me and my wife! Can't wait to see you again!

room was comfortable and clean.It was alittle hard to sleep with all of the commotion going on with ambulance and police in front of our room half the night.other than that the stay was ok.i will return in the future

the trip overall was good.i'm sure the drama that was going on had nothing to do with the hotel.The guest on the other hand were alittle out of control at times.other than that it was actually ok.i would return.

Easy to find - check in was flawless, parking was great - right in front of my room, staff was friendly

I'm one of those people who could sleep anywhere, on anything - but the mattress was really hard. Someone else might have complained - that's my only reason for stating this, just so you are aware. And, there were only 2 hangers on the rack and I asked for more and they were not available. Again, no big deal, but if I would have known beforehand, I would have brought some with me.

You sometimes get what you pay for. In this case, we got more than we paid for. The room was clean, comfortable, good location. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's not a resort or anything, but I think it was a great value and more than I expected.

The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, cold cereal, a muffin or bagel, that type of thing. But, again, sort of what I expected.

Everything was very clean and nice. We had a room at the end of the building and it was very quiet and easily accessible. The office personnel were very friendly and extremely helpful!

It would have been great to have had a place to hang clothes. Other than that, all was well! I could tell they were still renovating. They have more to do on the lot at the back of the hotel. Can't wait to see how that ends up!

good location and price

room smelled stuffy, one night there was a roach in the bathroom, the chair and desk chair were really dirty. the chair really needed to be thrown away. the room had nice floors and could see they were renovating, so I’m not really complaining. But those chairs should not have been put back in the room after putting down pretty floors.

A simple inn but the room seemed renovated and nice. the staff were lovely and happy to help. Nice location in helen and not in a busy out loud part of town. A cute grab and go breakfast nook with coffee and a few nice options.

Great location, bed was extremely comfortable.

Nowhere did I read that you had to have $100 security deposit until I got to the facility then they charge to my card. The bathtub was extremely discolored and had a place in the bottom of the tub where it was like broken.

The location of this hotel was perfect for our group. It is within walking distance of both tubing companies. The staff was very friendly! The checkin process was smooth. The housekeepers were also very friendly and did a good job of cleaning our room.

There was an issue with the water and it was cut off Saturday so no one in our group was able to shower before dinner after tubing. The staff was very tentative to this issue and it was resolved before the end of the night though and we were able to shower before bed.
