Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown, Near Peachtree Center, an IHG Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo! The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is located right beside the MARTA entrance/exit. This made airport transfer so simple! When we arrived our room did not have a refrigerator, but we reached out to the hotel staff and they quickly brought one to our room. The housekeeping staff would send a text everyday to check-in and see if there was anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess and waitress were delightful. I was in town to attend a conference at the Georgia World Congress Center. It was an easy 10 minute walk! Overall, our stay was great and I would highly recommend Hotel Indigo!

The room was clean, well-kept, and modern. I first thought the hotel was well cared for, and the room layout was aesthetically appealing. The bedroom had a desk for working, the curtains blocked the sun when closed, and the bathroom was comfortable. The bathroom came with two-level shower heads with excellent water pressure. The shower had a nice feature, with the on/off separated from the shower head. There were plenty of outlets for mobile devices, and connection to the internet was a simple process. The floors were clean, and the room smelled pleasant. The room was quiet and comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience.

There was nothing to report that was adverse to the stay.

The room was so quiet! Possibly the quietest property we've stayed at. Didn't use the noise machine we brought. The room and bathroom were luxurious. The shower had excellent water pressure. The staff were all super friendly. Location is convenient to downtown activities. If it wasn't sprinkling, we probably would've walked the couple of blocks and saved on re-parking closer to the aquarium.

It's downtown and we did public parking around the corner, so we had to pass a homeless man asking for money on the way in, and another homeless man lying on the road on the way out. Sadly, I've been in enough big cities that this wasn't a shock. Never felt unsafe. Valet parking was a bit high ($50), so we tooled around and stopped at a couple of public parking garages before we found one behind the building that did overnight parking for $25. Short walk to the hotel. Well worth it.

They make you take 2 elevators to your room while the lobby glass stairs stay closed only to be looked at. Doesn’t make sense. At check in, the receptionist Mrs. Jones tried to tell me and convince me I booked an king room and wherever I booked, that it must’ve stated “either or” even after I kept telling her I paid extra for 2 queens and showed her the confirmation email. At first she still claimed they’re sold out and only after I persisted she suddenly was able to find a room that was fully ready (we arrived after 9 pm) and still to the end was saying that it must’ve been “either or” and was obviously annoyed.

The room was lovely. The location was nice. It was fine. We enjoyed staying there.

We couldn't get in to check in the first day because the door was closed and in order to get in you need a key. But how are we supposed to get the key before checking in? We were not informed that there would be a deposit for a room we have already paid for. There should have been a water fountain on the floor or at least water bottles in the room. The staff at the restaurant could have been nicer. Also there was not a SINGLE vegan option on the menu, both breakfast and dinner. It's 2022 and ATL is a huge city so that was extremely disappointing.

I loved the clean rooms and how well put everything was, along with the stair case in the lobby. The staff was wonderful, as well.

I wish the rooms had a fridge atleast for the price you pay. Also, the hotel cards to get to each floor was confusing but secure.

This hotel was an amazing experience. It is visually appealing with the staircase and art. The staff is exceptional. They were all friendly and most helpful. The room was larger than I expected. I loved the view of downtown. The floor to ceiling windows made for a stylish room. The room was clean and safety practices were put in place. Everyone wore face masks (staff and guests) with no issues so I felt safe during my stay. I highly recommend. I’m also looking forward to making IHG Hotels my go to hotel for travel.

Previously I stayed at another hotel located down the street and while walking down the street I said, “Next time I’m in Atlanta, I’m going to stay there”. The lobby is definitely Instagram worthy. Great lighting. The bar has great drinks. I didn’t get a chance to try the food because there are a bunch of great spots around that are open late night. So I had too many choices to pigeonhole myself to the hotel lobby. The staff was phenomenal. Very personable. Even though the hotel was in the middle of downtown, and there’s definitely homeless people sleeping nearby, it felt safe. It’s literally in front of the Marta station so it technically has a shuttle to the airport. It’s right across from a CVS, so you really can’t miss. Beds were comfortable. Thought about stealing the pillows. Towels were plush. Bathrooms were spacious. Rooms were spacious. As long as the price is ideal, this is my go-to Atlanta hotel.

There wasn’t a fridge or a microwave in the room. there was a fridge in the lobby though, so you weren’t without, but still. The elevator had some tricky ish you had to go through. So the lobby elevators don’t go to your room. you then have to turn, go down a short hall, go to another set of elevators that go to your room.

Although the food was tasty, the staff were talking and laughing as we were dining and I think they should have an area to mingle with each other and come to the work area as a professional. I enjoy happy people, however that was not the setting for me to listen to staff in the back(and a few standing in the dining area). Poor dining experience;so I would resolve to dine elsewhere.
