Red Roof Inn & Suites Wildwood, FL

The suite was very large and very clean. The suite consisted of the bedroom, (bed was very comfortable with nice linens)bathroom, living room area and a room with refrigerator, microwave and table to be able to sit at to eat or work. I like that they have refillable soap and shampoo on the wall of the bathroom instead of those tiny bottles that are a waste. Staff was very friendly. IHOP is right next door. We did not get to use the pool but it appeared to be clean with plenty of pool side seating. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in the area!! This isn't a high end hotel but is excellent for the money!!

We have tried to think of something we didn't like and can not. We are very satisfied with our stay.

Very attractive newly renovated rooms with immense living quarters in the King Suite, all with a perfect layout design. Tasteful, comfortable furnishings & flooring, a multitude of electrical outlets and (2)TV’s! Add in the big bathroom, private balcony, crystal clear pool, wonderful central A/C & you start to realize this place is a bargain at the low rate we paid. Room was exceptionally clean & plenty of parking in a well-maintained lot.

Minor things. Needed more hooks & towel racks in bath, and more of a closet space for clothing. The bedroom and living room could easily each accommodate a large wardrobe closet especially since wall & floor space abound. Also lighting was very sparse. The grounds were well maintained & litter-free, but do appear to be a work in progress. Will be very appealing when finished.

Very spacious and clean! The fridge and microwave in the kitchen were an unexpectedly updated surprise, not just barely usable appliances. The staff was quick to address the couple of issues that popped up.

My biggest issue was with the Wi-Fi strength. In this day and age, with just about everyone traveling with multiple devices, having a robust network is a must. My laptop was unusable until I set up my cell as a hotspot. It may sound like splitting hairs, but I will have no issues staying somewhere farther away with better connectivity because decent Wi-Fi is a must for me.

We needed a place to stay during Hurricane Nicole, and we have a small dog. The suite was ideal for that. With the good sized frudge/freezer and microwave we were able to make meals in the kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable. The laminate flooring was a great option with a dog. The entire place was very clean.

The living room could have used a table lamp. With just one overhead LED light it wasn't very welcoming and not conducive to sitting on the couch to read. There was supposed to be a coffee maker, but there was none.

The rooms were very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is convenient from the interstate. For the price the hotel was a good, no frills hotel.

The pool was nasty (had clothing items and a bottle in the pool). We asked for extra pillows and towels (as we only had enough for 2 people even tho we said there were 3 of us traveling) but couldn't get them for 2 days because we had to find the housekeeper.

Staff at check in very good, and accommodating. Comfy bed.

No lamps in room! Looks renovated, but poorly thought out with only large glaring overhead lights. Very basic aesthetic.Was it men who designed and " decorated" it? Very bland,and impractical.No coffee maker in room,and no snacks!?? On a night with severe thunderstorms having to go to my car for snacks then drenched was not good!! No one was at front desk at check out.It's important to have staff there for that purpose. Acoustics poor when other guests slam door in 213 all night!

I was not expecting a suite, so that was a nice surprise. Having two TVs was nice, as was having a larger-than-usual motel-size refrigerator. The staff at the check-in desk was very friendly & helpful.

I had to ask someone to ask for someone to come & mop the floors, as my feet were black after walking across them. (Otherwise, the unit was clean.) There were no coffee maker nor supplies as advertised, until I asked for them, & they were not replenished after being brought once. There were a few roaches seen by the third day.

Shamelle was very friendly, knowledgeable and personable! Always a pleasure dealing with real people that treat you real. She is top notch and does a very good job managing a sometimes challenging property. The suites are like a condo with a dresser, coffee table, ironing board and iron, fridge, TV sitting area, couch and microwave. I enjoy hotel stays and could live in one as this.

Late night suspicious Parking lot activity and adjacent wooded area could be addressed further:

The room was SO GORGEOUS! Everything was so clean. The room was big for the price I paid. I paid less that I expected. Checking in and checking out was extremely smooth. I had no problems what so ever. The room looked EXACTLY like the pictures!!

There wasn't a daily cleaning service. It wasn't that big of a deal honestly, I didn't mind too much. It could be an issue with others though.

There was no breakfast. And having to walk to the front desk for a cup of coffee was not satisfying. Even Super 8 had in room coffee pots. The rooms echo with all the bare floors, it's annoying especially on phone calls. Put some area rugs on the floors

See above and add that no vending machines on the property were working. Staff told me to walk next door to use another motel vending machine. Really??
