We chose this motel for affordability and location, allowing us to do a whistlestop visit to the heart of the Everglades within very limited time. Traveling from the Florida Keys, we were able to do an excursion in the afternoon of our arrival and we had booked another excursion the next morning (we also managed to fit in an airboat trip in the afternoon, on our way to Miami airport to fly to Nashville!). We arrived (inevitably) after the scheduled closing time of the office, but the Receptionist (so sorry, I can't remember your name, if you told me) was working late and was extremely helpful with local information, including good advice about a local fish restaurant. My wife does not like motels but this one was an exception! The room was extremely comfortable and included a small kitchenette with just about every facility you could want (and, sadly we could not use). For fishermen the facilities go beyond what we were able to make use of but we did enjoy the small but adequate outdoor pool!

from the moment we pulled into the grounds, the place had the most welcoming feeling, old flordia charm, cleanliness every where you looked. staff went out of their way to provide you with places to eat, park at the beaches, and of course the dos and don't. Melinda at the front desk is a most to meet. she's loves her job. WE WILL BE BACK AGAION!

A few more wash clothes in the room. possible a larger coffee pot, but this is just small needs if I must say. We loved everything about the place.

amazing location and lovely old property- well old for the USA! easy parking and can walk places for dinner .

some of the facilities need up dating although massive renovation going on post hurricane. They only have a person there for a very short period each day which can make check in tricky . Slightly overpriced for such a simple room .

The location was amazing! The best part of it all was the wonderful staff. Very friendly and they would go out of their way to make sure you had everything you need. We were walking distance to restaurant/shops/bar. Being right on the water was very nice. The pool area clean and comfortable. We loved this place. It was very affordable. We will definitely be back.

I liked everything about the room, the area, and the hospitality. Place was very clean, we were able to get in early and I found that does not happen a lot so that was very nice. Walking distance to many restaurants or a short drive to beaches. And if you like a shower with great water pressure this is the place, I came out bald. When I turned it on it reminded me of the Seinfeld episode. Had a great time and will definitely recommend.

I couldn't find anything I didn't like. If you read the story of the business then you know it's a family business and I liked that.

This was my second stay at the Boat House and it was just as nice as the first time. The rooms are CLEAN and the AC was cold. This place reminds me of an old school beach motel. It's walking distance to the Snook Inn Restaurant and close to where we needed to be for our shelling boat tour. We used the pool which is nice and enjoyed sitting on the dock. This is a great little place!

Location was close to the wedding venues we were atending and the waterway was just down from our room. Parking in front of our room which was so convenient.

Door locks need to be replaced. Bathroom spotless but could be updated a bit. Shower head 👌 awesome! Office closes at 4pm and if there had been a problem, owners and Mgr are off site. Fortunately no issues at all.

This was our first stay at The Boat House on beautiful Marco Island. What a wonderful experience we had from being personally check in by the owner who is super nice and accommodating. Our room was a king suite. Very spacious, clean, and quiet. Location is perfect. We walked to the Snook Inn 3 nights in a row. Sat on patio every morning for coffee and watched the birds and boats. View is spectacular! Again very quiet area away from the busy part of Marco but yet very close to all you need. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends. For those boaters there is a dock that you can rent which is very convenient.

Great location. Close to Snook Inn, Art Galleries, Bistro Soleil Restaurant, and Island Bike Shop. You can soak in the pool, and while relaxing, you can watch the beautiful sunset or boats pass by.

This place is great! Staff every helpful and accommodating. Place is very clean and comfortable. Great deck with tables ,chairs, umbrellas , and lounge chairs for sunning. Fishing from dock super fun ,and dolphins come to visit. Pool available thats well kept. Cant ask for a better location . We'll be back!

Im stretching but for improvement, the soap bars are very small and didnt provide shampoo/conditoner which was no big deal since I bring my own anyway. Soap is fine but small enough it disintegrates into parts after a day. There is plenty of soap though.
