Rodeway Inn Waterford - New London

I like the fact that when I got there they let me look at two different rooms with different refrigerators in them to see which one I would like best. Not certain if it was the owner or not but the gentleman behind the desk was very friendly and very hospitable. When I asked if I would be able to check in sooner than 3:00 he said that it wouldn't be a problem. Also his cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked for anything they were more than willing to get it for me.

I can honestly say that there was not anything that I didn't like. It was a very pleasant experience.

Excellent bathroom (especially the wide, easy to access shower with safety rails), well organized kitchenette, overall cleanliness, lots of storage space. We wanted a low cost, reasonably comfortable room with a good shower, mini-fridge, microwave, wifi, and cable TV. It met or exceeded our expectations.

Bed was moderately comfortable, room had a stale, slightly musty smell on arrival which was solved by setting the cooling/heating system to dry mode to dehumidify and circulate the air. The table and chairs were great but the side chair was somewhat uncomfortable. One suggestion to management is to provide a list of popular TV channels - searching through the online guide with a few hundred channels is not very efficient when you don't know how the 1000 channel numbers are organized.

There was really nothing, as the staff and convenience was more important and of course the reasonable rates.

The rooms were clean even with COVID protocols in place (cleaning every few days unless requested more frequent). The staff was friendly and they would ask if we needed anything if they saw us leaving or walking about. They have security cameras set up outside over looking the parking lot and walkways which I liked. They also have new LED lights on the walkways. The location off of the highway was perfect to get to several local towns. There is a Walmart, DD, and gas near by if you need any of those options.

The room could have used a little updating. There were rooms that look like they had been updated, but ours was not. I paid the cheaper option when booking so I figure this is the reason why I got that room. Not a big deal and definitely not a deal breaker.

Property was exceptionally great!! kept so clean including the sheets, bathroom and floor. Our room had a small pantry, fridge and kitchenette. Also had a comfortable couch. The staff was really kind and made sure we were comfortable. would love to come back again without a doubt.

Very clean. Liked the woods around the property that made it quiet and peaceful. Very nice staff.

Breakfast sweets were prepackaged like vending machine stuff.

My stay was SUPER. The room was nice. The kitchette was super and allowed me to cook my supper in the Microwave. It ws easy to get to. The parking space was large for my truck and made it easy to load and unload my truck. I like it so much I will stay there again in 2023 for more nights so I can see my clients.

Room was clean , the location is great nice & quiet there . The staff is really nice !! But will go back .

The room wasn't ready when we got there at 7 & pool had no water so couldn't use it . The bed wasn't comfortable. & no coffee pot in room .

The room was very clean and clerk at desk was helpful giving directions. Also, the desk was able to move my reservation up a day so I could avoid some expected bad weather. Nice job Rodeway. I would definitely stay there again.

Some hot coffee and a snack would be plus.

The outside facilities like picnic tables were well maintained and made the motel look very inviting. The room was clean and comfy. A few snacks as well as coffee and hot water were provided for breakfast.

The receptionist seemed to be a bit confused - he mixed up key and rooms multiple times.
