Christiania Lodge, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel

The location was perfect. Being near a stream and the Gore Bike Path (the later literally in the back yard) was a plus. The housekeeping, front desk, and managerial staff were exceptional. The front desk was able to direct us to an out of the way spot that the locals go to in hopes that we would have a moose siting along with advice regarding the best way to see the back side of Vail Mtn, They were all above and beyond.

A lock on the wardrobe was clunky and the windows a bit dated. But in the grand scheme, that is nothing.

excellent location, walk to lift, restaurants. We were there for Oktoberfest so super convenient without having to drive or take a bus. very Bavarian looking, comfortable and plenty of room for 2 in suite with a living room and bedroom. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.

breakfast is no longer included, it’s available but you have to pay. also parking is $20 a day. bathroom needed some TLC, tiles cracked and poor spaculing where repairs were previously done. window shade fell off when we. tried to open it. place is older and needs some work for the price they charge.

We love the proximity to the gondola. Being able to walk out the door to the lifts is great! The breakfast offered was fabulous and nice it was not a fixed price because you could order just what you wanted. The staff is also the best!!!

The only downside was that our room was partly below street level and faced the street so we felt we couldn't open the curtains because people walking by could see in so during the day the room was dark.

The lodge was very close to Vail Village and Gondola One which made things very easy when trying to get around. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful.

The only thing that I feel could be improved would be that the building needs some minor repairs (like there were a few cracks around the bathtub/ shower that could be repaired fairly easily) due the natural aging of a building.

Location is the best. Within walking distance to everything. Hotel very clean, staff amazing, breakfast is usually amazing, but the cook quit the day I arrived. Pool is great, hotel very safe & Bavarian looking. I love this hotel!

Could use an extra fan in the room, since it was a hot week when I was there.

Debbie, who met us at the front check in desk, was so friendly and nice - a perfect first impression. The hotel is in a fantastic location - walkable to everything but quiet and backing onto the creek. The rooms very very comfortable and so was the bed. We didn't use any of the other parts of the hotel while we were there (ie breakfast) but we were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back there.

Very comfortable fantastic location. Surprised if the quality for the value.

Only downside was the lack of air conditioning, but the summer cool air and the fan more than compensated. Will be returning!

Best location possible - parking right in front and short walking distance to gondola, ski rental and bars and restaurants (2-3 min walk gondola and Red lion)

they are so kind and we checked in early they helped us for activities in Vail

we had the room in the first floor next time I should book in second or third floor for views

Great pool/hot tub (it’s combined) which was very warm. Short walk to gondola. Friendly staff. No hassle ski room and storage right at back door. Will definitely stay again if price is right!

Parking was expensive ($40/day) compared to the free Vail Village garage. Breakfast option closed.
