The Village at Steamboat

great location. washer and dryer were essential.

the washer didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed. after much ado, we were given a key to a room that had a working washer so I could shuttle laundry back and forth. when we were leaving, I put the dishes in the dishwasher and turned it on but it didn’t work either.

The layout of the condo was great, I was worried the "loft" room would be small or fully exposed but it was much larger than expected and had a full bathroom connected.

Even with windows open at night it was extremely warm in the condo without being able to use AC to cool down the unit. We ran fans and tried to use the thermostats but was definitely a warm weekend and the loft area was pretty hot.

Front desk staff were outstanding! I cannot possibly say enough about how wonderful they are, in-person and over the phone. They are kind, patient, friendly, etc. We ran into some issues with our first two rooms, but the front desk staff were extremely proactive and helped find a third room that worked perfectly for us.

If you're familiar with this style of housing (large complexes that have a veneer of niceness and 3 different companies involved in management/care), you know Exactly what you are in for.

Location was good and customer service desk was responsive. We were able to get extra blankets, dishwasher soap, trash bags, and TP delivered to our room/picked up from the desk. Glad the murphy bed was relatively comfy, didn't need to use my sleeping pad on top of it like a lot of places I've stayed. Price was good for what it was and the kitchen cookware was actually pretty good quality, not scratched or beat up. Shout out to the shuttle drivers, we had the cool dude playing Jamaican music most of the days and he was super cool and nice. Showers were nice and the in unit laundry was super convienent!

None of these were deal breakers for us, just things we noticed: One of the curtain strings for the upper blinds was missing its end piece and being 5'8" I was too short to reach the other piece to close the blinds. Had to make my friend > 6' get it. The fire place in our unit seemed to have some electrical issues so we weren't able to use it. Lights/electrical running the side of the murphy bed looked messed up and stripped. Stairs to the loft are very noisy and shake the whole living room when going up and down.

Everything else. It was like being home. Super comfortable mattress, pillows. Full kitchen, washer dryer in the room. Everything was super clean.

No A/C on our building. I just don't get it...why would anyone build such a superb hotel without air-conditioning. It was hot and the room felt very stuffy.

The 1 bed apt was huge and had every amenity you could wish for. Very clean and the bed was really comfortable

The check in was very laborious and long and they wanted all sorts of details that other establishments don’t ask for which made it tiresome!

Convenient location. Also the kitchen was really a nice bonus and allowed for a very relaxing stay.

When cleaning, staff needs to also look up. The ceiling fan was really, really dirty.

The room was extremely clean and well equipped. Even with the lockdown I was able to cook for myself and didn't need anything else. I was surprised they had the jacuzzi open, and with a reservation system I was able to enjoy it after hitting the slopes. The staff was very attentive and helped me when needed.

There was nothing I didn't like during my stay. Everything worked perfectly.

All the amenities, including appointed kitchen, comfortable bed and living room, even 2 moose on the property!

The steps. More outside parking would have been nice.

The location was great! The place was great! We even saw a bear! We really enjoyed the hotel and Steamboat springs. It's a lovely place and the staff was friendly and the room was perfect.

I think for the value it was great. There was nothing really that we didn't like of the property.
