Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Collins South

One of the newest hotels in Ft.Collins. Friendly and helpful staff,quiet location and great beds for comfy sleep, nice bathroom with large shower. Great breakfast selection. 4 miutes to WalMart or Costco, Target, Five Guys and the Dollar store. 10-15 minutes away from downtown Ft. Collins

Rooms are on the smaller side, family travellers with four suitcases and four carry on luggage have not much space to hang jackets or store shoes or suitcases away.

The breakfast was fine and your coffee was excellent. Meat didn't look very appetizing, otherwise it was good. The lady who was in charge was very friendly and helpful. Liked her alot. Location was perfect so we could walk at the series of lakes and ponds in the area. Beds were awesome and comfortable. Our favorite restaurant was across the parking lot, D.C. Oakes.

Everything was exceptional.. There wasnt anything that I could think of.

Breakfast was AWESOME!!!.. so many Choices, yet I noticed few people took advantage of it.. definitely missed out., I was stuffed for the entire day 🙂 Had a good size Gym, Pool to use ( i didn't ) Nice comfortable sitting area by the lobby, dining area to use., As well as a mini snack area if needed for $ Across the parking lot, few nice restaurants to enjoy. Close to a Grocery store also.

Only real complaint was the little refrigerator.. Wasn't turned on, and when it was, only stayed on for 2 hours, then off 8 hours according to the sticker inside. Needless to say, the ice cream I bought for later use melted., and refreshments mildly cold.

The last morning we were there as we were leaving early for home. (6am) We went down to get coffee for our trip home and the coffee bar was a wreck. There was piles of trash on tables in the dinning area. The coffee bar itself was filthy. I went and complained to the front desk. As we were leaving we checked since it had been about 20 minutes since we pointed out to the woman at the front desk. There was coffee in one of the dispensers. They had reheated coffee that had been sitting all night. It really left a sour taste in our mouths after a stay that was otherwise excellent.

The staff were super friendly though only ever saw 1 person at any time on duty. Due to Covid you had to reserve pool time which was hard to do when your out of town just trying to enjoy a carefree schedule. The rooms were very clean. There is a breakfast box served every morning that had a egg and ham muffin sandwich, a muffin, a yogurt and then there were always bananas, apples or oranges out and coffee and juices you could get to take back up to your room. There is no room service if you are staying more than one night you need to make sure you pick up after yourself.

The fact the breakfast is designed for you to take back to your rooms there was but there were no table or chairs in your room to sit at to dine so you did a balancing act on the bed. The walls and doors are thin you hear people in the next room watching TV, going to the bathroom, or people walking the halls. There was only one working elevator and it was slow and with covid you don't necessarily want to go in a crowded elevator. The beds are very firm making it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. (But I know some people like firm mattresses) Since no housekeeping need a larger trashcan for the room. (We ended up using shopping bags as extra trashcans) Need larger towels poolside! The curtains wouldn't close all the way my wife had to use a hairclip to fasten closed.

Was very modernized. The decor was pleasant to the eye The other small areas allowed us to visit with family

It was setup for one person our reservation was for 2 adults Only one chair condiments setup for only one person, towels as well Then no bathtub tp soak In!

Very nice breakfast room that was open all day so we could use it for our dinner too. Obviously recently updated bedrooms and bathrooms, modern and very clean. Room was larger than expected. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, they even had ice scrapers for the car we could borrow. This place is good value for the money. 5 stars.

Nothing, everything was great.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were quite comfortable.

I wish the location were closer to the center of town. However, it was nice that there were restaurant and coffee house options available in that location.

Cleanliness was great. The housekeeping staff was great and friendly. All was to our liking especially the bed which was very comfortable.

We should have gotten a room on the 4th floor because of the noisiness of the upstairs guests. The Breakfast was good but the gal didn't keep up with the food demand. It wasn't particularly busy.

The staff was very nice. Excellent job at cleaning. A very family safe atmosphere. Location had a lot to offer.

I had to extend my stay and was hoping they would offer a discount instead of raising the rate, as it was during weekdays, I stayed in same room, therefore saved them on extra cleaning, etc
