Baymont by Wyndham Colorado Springs

The staff member that I spoke to of my original check in night was really nice and understanding that we were on the way to check in and my son ended up cutting his hand and we had to get stitches that night and my son also has medical things all the time anyway but he just really wanted to stay home and be with his dog lol and I call while we are walking in to the emergency room just panicked and she was able to help me calm down and breathe and she was amazing about everything and when we did arrive she was so good with my son and the interaction with him and just the guest ingeral was just genuine really need to have more people who are like her . HER BOSS SHOULD GIVE HER A SPA DAY or something that she WANTS ‼️

The staff was very friendly and our room was clean we were provided with everything we asked for the only problem we had was that the cieling in our bathroom leaked sewage from the room upstairs although it did take a day or two a woman from the front desk moved us as soon as she became aware of the situation... My daughter thinks we should have been given a free night but that wasn't ever offered and honestly u didn't think to ask when all of this was going on.. it would have been nice , but regardless they were still very kind throughout the entire time we stayed

Just the leak in the Cieling other than that I had no issues whatsoever

It is really cool place. The manager told us it is under new management. I was there before, and it certainly changed. All the staff are very polite/courteous and went out of their way to accommodate. The view of the mountains from the room was amazing. All the restaurants are very close by, within walking distance. I will be staying there again for sure and best value for the buck.

The room furniture is dated but good for the price.

The indoor pool although small was warm. The slide was a favorite among our children. The view wasn't the best but seeing the mountains is always a plus. Front desk worker was very accommodating and I'm sure overworked but still in good spirits. Lobby was excellent and the airplane (look up) was really cool.

Breakfast wasn't available due to lack of staff and was not informed until check in. Also due to low staffing our room was not cleaned at all the entire 3 days/nights we were there. Had to take our own trash out to a bigger bin in the hallway. Room layout having sink accross from bathroom was not optimal causing a hallway and tight spaces. The hot tub was out of order and growing algae.

The location is in northern part of Colorado Springs with lots of nearby stores, parks, and things to do that are interesting, loved the pool with slide, Continental breakfast only had two items, staff went above and beyond and keep facility cleaner than most. They have laundry that is affordable and great quality. Front loader washer for $1.25 and drier was only $1.50! So I washed and dried 2 loads for $2.75 which at a laundry facility is a low price. The common areas are cleaned regularly and the staff can easily be found when needed! Room service only comes if you ask for it, which I prefer due to Covid. Cleaning products are available along with forgotten items, food and drinks are kept in coolers in lobby to purchase at front desk located next to coolers, and they can give you towels and toiletries upon request at front desk. My king suite was clean, bright and comfortable. I like the convenience of the love seat fold out bed and location & setup of mini kitchen. No mini stove is the only negative in my mind, but all else is awesome! Fridge and freezer worked well. Nearby within a mile walk or drive are the following biggies: Valero gas, Walmart center, motel 6, restaurants to sit down like Olive Garden and ihop, and faster fix like Sonic and McDonald’s. There are multiple hotels to choose from in this area and stores, restaurants, goodwill, etc.

Only complaints are 1- the property could have dog stations with bags and a trash can for dog waste. That said , ppl are doing great—because they are still picking up after their dogs feces. 2-my air conditioner filters were full of dust which isn’t good with new Covid variants like delta going around fast. 3-breakfast had only two item choices ( muffins and breakfast bars) 4- tourist season prices are slightly high even at discount!

Pool was great,staff was great especially Karen she was a Jem.

Breakfast was lacking some days and no vending at all. Ice machines were no where to be found...BUT not a deal breaker just little improvement suggestions.

It was ok the day manager was great he explained why we didn't have the things promised to us but it was a great stay I was disappointed when I got there and I was not told about a 100 per room I still have not seem it back 200 dollars cause I had 2 rooms

I like the staffs ready to help out when we needed it and had a very great experience with the way the room was and how it looked safe and healthy .

There wasn't anything I did not have a problem with except washer and dryers was out that's it.

The same standard that I always expect when staying at any wyndham owned hotel. The amenities are nice as well as the location here q

Breakfast is advertised and not provided I have been here 5, times in the past two months or more and it's been unavailable every time. Covids over! Bring breakfast back!

The water slide for the kids, it was clean, in a good area, hotel staff was SUPER friendly, the room was perfect for our family, they were pet friendly.

We had a suite, but the hotel didnt have enough pillows and blankets for the pull out couch (we were there over the 4th of July after the pandemic, so it could have just been our timing). Also, the main pool and hot tub were closed, but the water slide was open. :-)
