Hampton Inn & Suites Watsonville

very nice & comfortable, Firm beds& excellent toiletries & bottle water as you check in. Nice breakfast choices. Only problem, not enough parking or handicap parking space & too many electrical parking spots. Hotel should inform people to park in open parking spot & put handicap sign up & your car won’t be ticket or tolled. Overall, excellent stay. Oh another exception was Starbucks at end of location has a line and you can’t get into hotel parking lot without going around again. people waiting in Starbucks line blocks entrance to Hotel parking lot. we had to wait & squeeze car between cars in line for Starbucks🥵

The hotel was not too far from Santa Cruz, it was conveniently off the hwy. We were happy to have a gas station and Starbucks neighboring the property. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The hotel itself looks brand new and the facilities were very very comfortable and easy to use. The staff was amazing with an easy check in and check out. The common areas were inviting. Free bottled water when you walk in. =)

WIFI was only available if you add yourself to the free membership for Hilton. Breakfast was good, but a few extra toasters would have made it much more convenient and faster. The hot water for free tea in the lobby was usually out. No worries, we used our room microwave. The TV only had showtime and a bit difficult to navigate but we got the hang of it.

The hotel is new, clean and well maintained. The room was confortable, and the beds were perfect. The pool and the fitness center were relatively small, but there was nobody when we used them. The breakfast was good, and staff is taking care during the whole morning. We recommend this hotel for a stopover on the highway 1.

Definitely this kind of hotel should stop using paper plates and cutlery made of plastic! This would be good for both the environment and the customer experience!

I specifically look for decent hotels with free breakfast. I usually travel with a cat now, so having a pet friendly hotel is a plus. That being said, I don't agree with an extra charge for pets. I've seen more damage to rooms from people than I ever have from pets.

I had one comforter that was not clean and the chair was stained.

Clean place, clean rooms, location is near a Starbucks and AmPm which was great. We forgot our toothbrushes the front desk gave us some for free! The mini fridge worked great our drinks were frosty cold within 45mins! The complimentary breakfast was perfect and delicious.

The pillows were uncomfortable, and the towels were very rough.

It was clean and easy to navigate. Good location.

The amenities left a little to be desired. For the price and the area I expected a toiletries pack (cotton balls or qtip make up wipes etc.) I appreciate the installed cosmetics for sustainability but there wasn’t a laundry bag. With a pool on site a robe would have been appreciated.

Overall it was a great place to stay. The facility and room were very clean. The pool was nice to use and the staff accommodated extra pool towels for us. It was also fairly quiet. The breakfast had a wide variety and was great quality. It was convenient to have a Starbucks and AMPM walking distance for the late night snacks and good coffee in the morning.

The pool may have been a bit over chlorinated. I like the room trash cans to have bags in them.

We loved the newness, cleanliness, and decor of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the guest laundry room because we had been traveling for a week prior to our stay and needed to do some laundry. We were also very impressed with how quiet the room was. The walls seem very well insulated and sound proofed. And how convenient to be neighbors with Starbucks and an AM/PM market and gas station. The breakfast was also good!

I can’t think of a thing that we didn’t like.

Brand new hotel and very clean. Not what I was expecting for Watsonville (no offense, Watsonville). Starbucks and convenience/gas station within walking distance was a good feature. Breakfast was pretty good, and included.

Not close to a downtown area but otherwise very suitable location. If you want luxurious hotels you don't stay in Watsonville anyway, you stay in Aptos or Parajo Dunes. (We were there for an organized bike ride.)

I bought the room for my mom. She slept great all three nights. It was new and clean and the TV got many stations to watch. I joined her for breakfast one morning, we had blueberry waffles, eggs, bacon and coffee.

I tried calling her room but the switchboard operator said that room # was empty, she couldn't find her by my name, or her name. ( My Mom didn't bring her cell phone). The desk clerk asked to put me on hold to check the reservations -I was in a hurry and hung up.-I apologize.
