The Saguaro Palm Springs

I loved the aesthetic and the vibe that it had. The people were friendly and the colors were gorgeous.

There was some black mold in my shower. It was pretty gross and I had to wear my sandals. It just seemed unprofessional to give out that room. Also, the pool, though nice, was pretty hot. I don’t know if you can actually do anything about that and it feels trivial to even complain about, but it’s be nice if it was a bit cooler.

Great breakfast and happy hour in El Jefe. We loved the pool area and that there were enough chairs for everyone, plus more chairs throughout the property for hanging out. The decor is very cheerful and the entire hotel is very Instagrammable. If you are an early riser, you'll likely have the pool to yourself until 10 a.m. or so.

Service at the pool was a bit slow (drinks and towels), and room was starting to look a bit shabby (stains, chipped paint, etc.). We were also awakened every night at 2 a.m. by the (presumably drunk) ELEPHANTS above us coming home and crashing into everything in their room, but that's no fault of the hotel's.

Pool was amazing. El Jefe was great. The toiletries smell very good.

I was not informed of the $75 "potential damages fee hold". It wasn't stated, printed, or written anywhere in my paperwork. When the hotel put this temporary fee on my credit card at check in, I literally had no money left to spare for food or anything else. This needs to be clearly stated *before* guests check in. Also it's a high amount, I've seen $25-50 but $75 is too high. It took my bank 2 days after check out to process and refund that fee. Also be aware, the hotel stocks the rooms with food and drinks so if you take any of it, you will be charged. I knew this already so did not eat or drink anything I hadn't brought myself :)

The hotel is great, colorful & joyful. The rooms are really corrects for the price, it is more than « an old barely renovated motel » as I read in other comments. The restaurant is delicious.

Unfortunately the staff isn’t nice or helpful.. neither at arrival when we almost couldn’t pay with our French debit cards, we had to try 4 Mastercards before the 5th (visa) worked. We traveled for 10 days = 10 hotels, and Saguaro is the only one where we had this problem. Nor the day after when there were fire alarm state tests that couldn’t be stopped in our room for more than 1 hour in a row. We had to pack and almost got deaf, and absolutely no one cared despite several complaints.

the weekend drag brunch was fantastic. The pool was amazing. if you go to the pool in the morning its family friendly. later afternoon and evening its more of a party vibe. the pool patio rooms are convenient to getting around the hotel.

large bug in the tub. spider on the pillow. mirror smudged when we first arrived. the room was 152 which is inside one of the covered stair entrances. it was so noisy and distracting throughout the night.

Pool and pool staff (bar) were great. Lunch and Dinner was awesome service and food

AC wasn't working 100%. Staff dismissed us by saying that it was working. Being on the ground floor (which costs more) we found of our muggy and warm. Only on our last night that we insisted on another room. Reception accommodated and our new room was cooler and much cleaner than the one that we were originally assigned. Food quality at breakfast was okay. Not as good as lunch/dinner

Loved the updated mid-century design of the hotel. Decor and decoration were a delight Pool area was lovely and great that it was available until 10 PM for evening swims and relaxation after the high day temperatures. Room was spacious, clean and met our needs perfectly. Staff repsonded prompty to all our requests. Staff dealt efficiently and professionally with noisy people in neighbouring room at 3 AM in the morning.

Found the restaurant and bar area (Cantina) difficult to access and staff that were not the most friendly. I struggled to literally hear what they were saying even after repeatedly asking them to speak louder. In the end we went elsewhere for dinner and food.

Great location, beautiful for photos, quiet and relaxing

The room had a slight musty smell. The staff refused a slightly early check in less than 30 min accommodation, they are entirely entitled to say no but it’s the way they said it.

This place deserves bigger grade! From the amazing hospitality at the reception to the nice retro touch in the rooms and amazing smell inside, I would bath in it :) pool area was also nice, not crowded, as well as the amazing restaurant in the hotel. The overall stuff was the most welcoming during our whole North America trip, this is how the guests should be threated.

It was super cute and comfortable. The suite bedrooms were large and had large closets.

The suites are all in the corner and tend to be a bit hidden, so even though we had a pool view it was covered by so much landscaping and other property pieces. The rooms could also use some more lighting options; overhead and otherwise. The pool view rooms at ground level should have the option to enter/exit with a lock through the sliding doors instead of always having to go around to the main room door.
