Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport Newport Beach

The breakfast options were excellent. The room was comfortable and well laid out for the size. Loved the large screen tv and linens. Room was very clean.

The manger who checked us in was initially very rude to me and somewhat hostile. He only changed his tune when he realized I was a Hyatt Globalist member. I was shocked about his overall approach to customer service.

Location was great, hotel is well appointed and very clean, I like the atrium that allows for a feeling of space, light and air when going to ur room from the elevator instead of long corridors without windows to get to one’s room.

The price is super expensive specially when u add up all the fees, resort fees, parking fees, etc. one pays because of no other cheaper and clean options.

Staff was awesome, facilities lacked for nothing. The rooms are very comfortable.

I stayed in this hotel because of proximity to the airport. If you have a car, there is everything you could possibly want within a ten minute drive. Without a car there is a 7-11 and a few restaurants, but not much.

We arrived on the 4th July holiday weekend where there were people everywhere. Front of house staff Sam and Eric were so helpful and walked us through everything we needed which made our stay very enjoyable.

The crowds which was not something the hotel could change

the property is clean and easy to get around. the elevators are near the entrance. don’t have to go looking for them in the back forty, if you know what I mean. refreshing fruit and citrus waters upon checking in. room was fresh and clean. all appliances were in good working order. WiFi worked as expected. restaurant and bar was relaxing and the quick service was nice. parking was exceptional, plenty to choose from and lots of space for a no door ding experience.

We loved everything. The lighting choices, the electric outlets (tons of them and close to the bed), small patio to step out onto, easy and reliable wi-fi. This was one of the most comfortable rooms we've stayed in (no joke!) we loved it!!!

The prices at store in the lobby were astronomical... ($8 for water; $9 for a latte)

The food was excellent! I had breakfast daily! I also had lunch, dinner and dessert each at some point in my stay. Again - sooo good. Super kind, remember-your-name type staff.

I loved the pool and hot tub. Friendly staff, quick repair on the bathroom shower. Check in with champagne is sooo nice.

I thought I was booking two queen beds. These full beds are quite small for 2 people. The breakfast buffet is nice but not for a small fortune of $25. Parking should not be $25 per night for self park either.

beautiful super clean modern room. the bed was comfortable, big screen tv, marble walk-in shower and a Juliette balcony. the restaurant was expensive but very good. I loved the pool area and the lobby and restaurant were beautiful. it’s a great hotel!
