Chase Suite Hotel Newark Fremont

Breakfast was pretty good, a little too repetitive, but good. Room was very comfortable and met all my needs. The staff was just superb, very nice and acted immediately upon request. Areas were pretty clean, but at the time there were some renovations taking place and therefore there was some debris here and there. Within the immediate area you had access to fast food restaurants, restaurants, gas stations, shopping malls, supermarkets, and most of all access to main highways.

It would be nice to have a parking spot designated, but then again that's difficult to control, guests wouldn't know which rooms are vacant or occupied.

The place is like an apartment complex was turned into a hotel. The suites are equiped with full kitchen, a super spacious living room with sofa bed and also very spacious room. The place far exceeded my expectations. It is sort of a residence inn type of hotel. Breakfast is the average hot breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, etc. Does not vary much from day to day, it is ok. There is laundry onsite, which can be paid using credit card. Also a pretty nice swimming pool. It is locate right next to Newark Mall and you can walk to the multiple restaurants right across the street. I will definitely stay here again.

Wifi service has to be renewed every day or every other day which is not really handy and can be improved.

Nice facilities with big rooms and a kitchen. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff at the front desk nice and helpful. Parking, although outside uncovered, was plentiful and convenient.

They still have problems with parties at night. First night (THR) was fine, but on Friday there was a very noisy group from about 11:30pm to 1am. Hotel needs stricter policies to stop such noise. The A/C + heating system is also very noisy. Our neighbors seemed to leave their heating (in June?) on during the night, and the machine made a very annoying noise - it was directly located outside of the bedroom windows. Probably difficult to change, but this is a design mistake. Finally, breakfast stops a bit too early for weekdays.

The hotel is actually a series of apartments, possibly once condos repurposed. This means the units are quite large, have a full kitchen, air conditioning you can control, and wifi. It is surrounded by dozens of fast food & regular restaurants, across the street from a mall with an IMAX, and has adequate parking. The pool and hot tub are in-ground and quite pleasant. There is not a fitness center on cite, but the front desk will give you a free day pass to "24 Hour Fitness" a full scale gym in the nearby mall. I actually much prefer this than an underequipped hotel gym, but its a 10 min walk every time you go.

Locals seem to be aware of this place and rent a room to party in on the weekend. We personally weren't bother by noise but I would see the trash piles the cleaners pulled out the next day, so its a consideration. The pool area is not screened in, so every morning there was a pile of detritus floating on top. I would use the nearby skimmer and spend 15 minutes scraping it off, but no one else seemed to be doing it. The compound is not fenced in any way, anyone can walk right through / up to your door. We never felt unsafe or threatened at all, but it might bother some people.

The hot breakfast you get is great. They serve it in individual containers. Typically scrambled eggs with sausage, some kind of potatoes. You can add a type of bread (to be toasted in your room), fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee etc. The people serving the breakfast are awesome. The room was clean, the various rooms I have stayed in have showed signs of being worn. Beds are comfortable. This last room the pillows were not as comfortable as some of the other rooms I have stayed in before.

You can still hear some outside noise - depending on what room you have you may have more noise than others. The hotel may have a harder time controlling people talking in their rooms and/or in the parking lot.

It's a nice unit with a wide comfort living room, plus nice kitchen place. Either ground floor or upper stairs, both have absolute same configuration. Counter attendant were very friendly and very helpful. Very convenient neighborhood provide supermarket, selection of lunch dinner within very short driving distance. Truly one of my favorite place to stay when I visit the area. By the way, bed is really clean and comfort, makes me want to stay on the bed as long as I could.

Shower head is poor to splash like all American shower system. Short of frypan took really long time to deliver, but eventually arrived anyway. This is essential for people who stay here (because it got full kitchen set), but there were no frypan in it. Wondering whether colleague having the same issue, the answer were yes, non of us have the frypan.

Located adjacent to a mall so felt pretty safe. There are restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The suites were 8 to a building, much like a timeshare. You had to walk to the main building to get breakfast but they had disposable plates/utensils do you could eat there or bring back to your suite. The breakfast was good, not too many choices, but enough variety to satisfy most.

We had to call the desk to get help adjusting our thermostat. There weren’t instructions and it got locked. The maintenance man came quickly and unlocked it.

We were surprised at the size of the room…1 huge bedroom with king-size bed, a TV and bathroom complete with dispensers for shampoo, conditioner & bath gel. Couch in living room was comfortable for relaxation & watch TV. Kitchen was fully equipped for home cooking. Conveniently located for shopping & restaurants. It’s home away from home.

Closet door could have been better. The one in our room probably needs a new one. We had difficulty closing the bathroom door and the front door.

Clean apartment with a decent-sized kitchen. The staff were super friendly and arranged late checkin. It's pretty good location, quiet, several restaurants just across the street. Normally takes around 30 mins to drive to San Jose/Mountain View if you use 237. They offer free coffee till 8pm. Breakfast in fine but it looks like they're using powdered eggs so tastes like carton.

Collecting trash can a problem, there are some medium-sized trash bins around but always filled to the top.

This is the best "Hotel" in the area. The facilities and the space is far superior to all the hotels near by. I travel for life and stay in a lot of hotels. This place is far ahead of the other hotels in the area. To start with, this is the only hotel with a fireplace in the suite. I love fire and cannot go for more than a few days without engaging with fire. So this place is ideal for that. The suite itself is big. The surrounding area has a plethora of restaurants. Specially Indian. The best Indian food in the US can be found in the area. This is my main reason for staying nearby. The price is much lesser than all the other hotels in this area. I almost dont want to advertise this hotel so much that it becomes more popular and less affordable for me. I hope it stays the same. Overall, Great place!!!
