Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites San Jose-Morgan Hill, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was exceptional and totally met our expectations and then some. I appreciated that breakfast started at 6:00 am as we had to be out of the room by 7:00/7:30 for an event we were participating in. Lots of choices for breakfast which is always appreciated. We booked the smallest room but it was huge! I also love that the hotel is sustainable. The soap, shampoo, and body wash were in refillable containers instead of wasting so much plastic using tiny bottles. I am not sure why every hotel doesn't do this. Super quiet, great location, and has so many amenities.

Nothing, we loved everything about this hotel from the minute we walked in, to the time that we checked out.

Very comfortable beds/pillows. Great location - close to many restaurants and stores - some within walking distance, others a quick drive. Rooms were quiet. Large lobby to have a gathering or eat your food instead of inside your room. Indoor pool.

Indoor pool needed someone to service it - very wet floor, no towels. It was very busy for a bit. Coffee ran out early at breakfast and wasn’t refilled while I was there. Should open the lounge/bar on weekends. Even if it’s just to sell bottles of wine/beer/spirits.

The stay at the hotel was a good experience, the beds were very clean and spacious, we really liked that they had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in regular size and not those small bottles that sometimes are not enough. Sufficient towels available, the pool clean and towels for everyone. The people at the reception are very friendly and their attention by phone is very courteous and friendly. We love that there is breakfast, it saves us a lot of time to rest and relax. Thanks

It can be better if you have more fruit in breakfast like cut watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes.

The pre-packaged breakfast was perfect. All was better than we expected. Will definitely stay again!

Unfortunately we were roomed against a noisy room for 2 days, until they checked out. My companion, who has better hearing than I could not sleep the 2nd night. Our room was blocked off from tenants the 3rd night. Thank you!

Staff was nice. Room was quiet.

No one at the front desk when we arrived. Card keys didn't work for the first room; so, we had to go back to get changed to another room. Breakfast ended at 9:00 a.m., but no one told us and there were no signs to inform us.

Offered free beer and trail mix upon check-in---first time I have ever experienced that at a hotel! There were two choices for beer; we chose Coors Light. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Friendly staff who spoke both Spanish and English, and the pancake robot turned out perfect robots. There was also fruit, sausages, and scrambled eggs.

STAFF was especially friendly and helpful--even after we checked out! Explanation: we had a bit of a lost & found issue with some medical supplies left behind in a drawer. Next morning, when it was discovered that something was missing, staff helped us get back into the room. Drawers were searched and--viola!--missing item was found. We are very grateful.

The room was very comfortable and bed was very comfortable. We were able to check in early. The breakfast was great. Thank you Holiday Inn :)

The room was clean, the pool area was clean. The breakfast was well stocked and the staff was very friendly. I interacted with a cleaning staff person. the person running the hot breakfast and two different front desk employees. All were very pleasant and professional.

No complaints, everything was good. I have stayed at various hotels throughout the years, and this one was a family favorite. The room was spacious and clean.

Property was very nice. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool.

Breakfast w/covid. I missed the waffles and hot chocolate! If you like blueberry muffin then you were in luck, that was the only kind they had. The hot food was served to you (which they did a good job with) but there just wasn’t the variety or quality that Holiday Inn is known for.
