Best Western John Muir Inn

I like Sue in the breakfast area she is a great through person make sure everything clean wipes down tables and areas after each person that was the first time we stayed. . She was the only one doing that. My room was cleaned very nice even when asked. New towels. New soaps. This time we weren't able to sit in the breakfast area. But the lady that was there was helpful. The mantaince staff was very helpful when I told him my shower head was leaking. He fixed it right away.

When checked in the lady gizzell was not very customer friendly. When asked several times for a blanket she said ask someone in the hallway. When she saw the staff left or went to lunch. I felt I was being ignored and brushed off. So I had to get the blanket myself. When I asked the staff before they left they said I had to ask the front desk.. Gizzell didn't want to take the time to get me a blanket..

The variety on breakfast was amazing. I was very pleased. We're from Las Vegas Nevada doing a trip to San Francisco with the kids. Found out the prices around Fisherman's Wharf are a little bit out of our price range. John Muir in great location to spend the night and see the city of San Francisco

Friendly staff, free breakfast starting at 5:30am, comfortable beds and quiet rooms despite being next to a major freeway

There was a sensor on a cable on the TV that had fallen off in order to use the remote and it took me awhile to figure it out because it was behind the stand, huge gap under the door that allowed way too much light into the room at night, needs a little updating with paint and lighting in hallways

Breakfast was really good. Afternoon evening Front dest Esther was friendly even when she was getting off work in 10 min.for the night she was very helpful and friendly and made sure if she could help me with any thing else.

The cart for my luggage was not available when checking out. More carts .or a limit how long you can use them.

Great location, overall room and bed quite comfortable.

Housekeeping knocked on my door at 8 am! Fortunately I was awake, but I slept poorly so a knock at the door that early was not appreciated. Small matter of a cracked Kleenex cover with a hole in it. Would look much better if the telephone line were not evident.

I loved the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The woman who checked me in did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay.

My roommate said that the wifi did not work after multiple attempts to use it. Also, I wasn't a big fan of the faucet setup in the bath tub but once I figured it out, it worked well.

Property is very good, Staff is great, food is great.

I didnt like that the entry was close due to maintance and everyone need to go around the building to enter. i suggest any repair or maintance be done at Night or Weekday. not on weekend.

Nice area with plenty of well lit parking, kind and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Really enjoyed the breakfast and amenities.

A little noisy, we were close to the ice maker and could hear cars leaving the parking lot in the early hours

it was close to everything we needed. price was good.

the elevator seemed like it was on its last leg. no plug for the tub to take a bath. no drink/vending machine. furniture was not in very good condition.

The full breakfast came in handy. Not having to stop for and spend money on breakfast makes a big difference! I also liked the TV. There were so many channels & selections, it was easy to find something to put on and relax.
