Armando is AMAZING!! My husband left his cell phone in the Uber driver’s vehicle. once we got ahold of the driver he spoke Spanish and we were having an issue communicating. Armando was at the front desk getting ready to end his shift when we asked if anyone can help with communication to the driver. Armando jumped right in, worked out an option to meet the driver half-way and even took my husband in his own vehicle to meet the driver. We had a cruise to get on that morning and would be gone 2 weeks. Not having his phone would have been a major issue. Thanks to Armando we were able to divert the potential crisis and go about day getting set for a cruise. I cannot thank him enough for doing this!! Such an amazing thing to do and his took us in his own vehicle! Armando’s value to your organization is significant. Please thank him again for us!! Aloha! ~ Amy and Jason

Great breakfast, friendly staff, complimentary Waters, nice pool & water temp perfect!!!

Having to pay extra for parking seems unreasonable per lot size & location this feels like an extra unnecessary cost.

Beautiful hotel close to the airport which was convenient for our early morning departure. Many excellent choices for restaurants nearby - including Whole Foods! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we were impressed that the Food and Beverage Manager was there all three mornings of our stay and even passed out cookies one day!

Jacuzzi wasn't working which was disappointing..

I thought the service was great I was able to extend my check out time and needed a new key card and staff brought it to my door! I also like all the amenities the pool and outside area are really nice I like that the parking area in the back is still very close and accessible to my room and that so didn’t have to go all the way to the front to get in. Of course the breakfast was very nice there were plenty of options to choose from.

The breakfast was good I was a little late and uncomfortable at how quickly they were ready to put away food. That was the only thing every other service was great the staff was very friendly. Some spots on my sheets where I can tell there were previous stains and the room was a bit smaller than what I’m used to paying that price for but but nothing strange or no bad experiences.

We've stayed there before, and the friendliness/courtesy of the staff is outstanding. Very close to the airport, but we don't hear plane noise. The beds are comfy, and the floor we were on was very quiet. Shuttle service very prompt. Breakfast plentiful with many options to choose from. Each time we've stayed here we've seen airline crew members in the morning. That's always a good sign to us. They choose lodging carefully by quality, price, and service.

The bedspread and sheets seem to be somehow attached. We got in some tangles turning over. The toilets are not comfort height, although the bathrooms themselves appear to be renovated. The coffee in the lobby is always available freshly brewed and hot--unless you want decaf, which is at room temp.

I liked the make-it-yourself waffle and the different hot meal choices served in my two night stay. Nahalia, hope I got her name right, had my room ready earlier because of a mishap on my booking (on my end). I also enjoyed the available coffee throughout the day.

The Airport pick-up wasn't specified at the time of booking that it was limited to certain airports only. I had to arrange an Uber at past 10pm just to get to the property.

The location was amazing. plenty of food and short drive to recreational activities. The concierge was amazing and allowed us to check in early, offered water and coffee and was extremely pleasant.

The doors do not open or close smoothly. Bed springs are not too pleasant but still okay. particularly check room 422’s door.

Walk to restaurants not noted. Drove around in our rental checking out "close" by restaurants, many areas did not look "safe" to eat at (not interested in big business eateries, i.e., Mimi's Cafe but prefer local business eateries). This is not a deal breaker tho and would stay here again when needed.

Spotlessly clean hotel and the staff were always active keeping it that way. The location was perfect as we have family living nearby but also shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Some very minor maintenance issues (en suite door faulty) but nothing much. Quickly sorted by the staff.

Our son and his family live in Long Beach, so we are frequent visitors, and the Hampton Inn is becoming our home away from home. It checks all the basic boxes at a fair price, and the staff is friendly and thoughtful. For example, on our last visit, in December, they set up a complimentary gift wrapping table in the main lobby so we could wrap Christmas gifts. That was a welcome touch.

Hard to think of anything. I guess the hallway carpeting is probably due for an update. And they could use a few more handicapped parking spaces.
