I stupidly booked for the night before I arrived. And arrived late, in panic- no staff there, office closed. But phone calls to the gracious overall manager in San Francisco, and a gallant local lady, not only got me into a room that happened to be available - but did so with a smile and such good grace ... I could not have been more grateful for everything ...

... apart from the fact that this lovely hotel might try to exert a little control over the noise that its fishing clientele make. Boom boxes, late night beers on the terrace next door, etc, etc. All very jovial - and good for them - but some of us have to work next day.

View was awesome. Room was a little shabby but clean. They provided a kurig coffee maker and a nice selection of pods. They also had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in a dispenser in the shower. Nice for the area, especially because of the view and the tranquility

Broken down bed and mattress. We had two beds in our room so it was not a big deal but it was not something to ignore either.

Great location at the lake. The general area is a but run down, but this group of cottages was delightful. Very cheap indeed. Very big room.

Not much. Don't expect the Ritz Hotel, but sitting at the table and chairs outside the room with a beer and a view over the lake, who needs the Ritz.

We liked everything about Clear Lake Vista. We have been staying here and plan on staying here every two weeks for a few days while we remodel a vacation home nearby. The staff, housekeepers and hospitality has been exceptional.

We love this place ! Not one thing we disliked. I would recommend Clear Lake Vista to all my friends and family!

Your Cafe was not operable at this time. Looking forward to it reopening.

We couldn't utilize the water, right outside our room's front door, because it was too low. We couldn't launch the boat nor fish from the dock. Still a beautiful view. We know that the water comes from above. We are keeping our hopes high for more water soon.

Very quiet location which is perfect when your work day starts at 3:00 a.m. Even though we didn't bring our pet it was very pet friendly ! The staff was very friendly and accommodating the rooms were well stocked and very clean.....

Stayed in cottage 18. Pros are view, cozy cottage, bed comfy and kitchen adequate. Close to dock for fishing. Only issue we had was the fridge stopped working. They came to look at it promptly and we thought we reset it and they offered to bring us another. I heard it come on but didn’t notice until final morning that it wasn’t actually cooling and freezing. The garbage if you are staying for a few days should be bigger in kitchen but not a deal breaker for us. Bring a 13 gallon trash bag. Leonard was great at checking us in. We had a wonderful few days of relaxation. Unfortunately no bites or fish caught. We will definitely be back to try again.

Can use updating of couch and some minor stuff but I don’t expect perfection.

The property is right next to Clearlake, with a view of the lake from each room. They are generous with the choice of hot beverages they provide with the coffee maker. The room is spacious and very clean with comfortable beds.

The air-conditioning/heating unit was loud and kind of clunky. My feet got cold during the night while I was sleeping.

Very few hotel-style choices found in the area, so this was nice enough. Basic room, very clean, linens very nice. Staff very helpful with our late check-in.

One of our beds incredibly uncomfortable, actually a sloped mattress. Pond in front of our room not cared for, standing water was smelly and probably breeding bacteria and bugs.

This was a great value. Management and staff was very accommodating. Room was very clean. Housekeeping was on top of their game. We will definitely return !

Lake was very low due to the drought but everything else was exceptional !
