Royal Plaza Inn Indio

The facility was very clean, and the staff were nice and attentive.

The location is not the best. I saw a lot of homeless in the front when pulling in. I hated the fact that there are sliding doors facing the open parking lot. It seems like an easy access point to be robbed or broken into. The room was clean yet it had a lot of not well repaired things (old leaky dry wall). The bed was uncomfortable and super springy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located pretty close to Palm Desert, which was nice.

The property is old, and it feels and shows it. Two door handles were missing on the dresser. A light bulb was burnt out in the bathroom. The inexpensive room furniture was chipped in a few places. Some of the paint in the bathroom was chipped badly. The balcony door shook rather noisily with only slight winds outside. We chose the property fully aware that it was inexpensive compared to most properties around it in this expensive locale, but it still feels overpriced. Overall, it was fine for a couple day visit.

Due to Covid, there was no breakfast option, but I knew before going so that was not an issue. The satff were very efficient and helpful, offering to help and suggesting solutions I had not considered e.g. I was provided with a brand new water filter jug without asking, just because I wondered how safe the water was for drinking

Nothing. For the price, it was perfect.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. When we got to our room, the housekeeping staff welcomed us. Our door key card reader wasn't working and the owner was there within three minutes to fix it and was very apologetic. At check in, he gave us his card and told us to call anytime if there was anything we needed. Also, the room was very spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. You can tell that it is an old building but they keep it up very well. Excellent customer service!!

The room was fine for four people. The beds were really twins and not doubles. The room had a refrigerator.

The sliding glass door at the back of the room, let in a little too much noise. No in room coffee maker, but there was coffee in the lobby.

Nice room, spacious. front desk very helpful when checking in.

No breakfast as advertised I requested a blanket, but it wasn't delivered and I was very cold for 2 nights

I liked the customer service we received while we were there for the fourth of July the hotel was very nice and the front desk also. We would book there again when in Indio. Thank you again

Nice and clean. Smelled really clean.

We did not have Wi-Fi in our room. Went down to inquire at the desk. The desk clerk assisted me, but dropped off again once I entered our room. Also said it was pet friendly but did not note any grass for him, just the paved parking lot.

The Location. The room nice and clean and comfortable beds. Great view of the fair. Staff very friendly. Affordable.

The staff almost kicking my son out for hanging around in the lobby when they knew he was with me when I checked in.

While not the most luxurious option, this was the perfect to way save some money at a recent wedding... The check-in process was easy and friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean. Would've loved to hang at the pool if it weren't such a chilly day.
