Crowne Plaza Hotel Foster City-San Mateo, an IHG Hotel

We went for breakfast and was told they were not serving from the menu. The waiter told me to go get a coupon because we were there for my granddaughters volleyball tournament. The lady at the desk said I would have had to request at booking. I didn't understand that. I went back to the table and he said we could order off of the menu. I thought the buffet was very over priced. However we ate dinner in the restaurant the night before. Very good and not too pricey.

We had to call three times for sheets and blankets for the pull out couch. They only gave us one thin blanket in the middle of a child front in February. We had to ask for another one.

The lobby area was very welcoming and had a nice ambiance. The room was very clean. Even though there was a night club downstairs, it was very quiet in the hotel. Plenty of parking free of change and very safe feeling neighborhood.

While being in a nice atmosphere and indoors, the pool and hot tub felt aged and could use some refreshing. They were still enjoyable though. The TV in the room was very dated and didn't have many channels. All of the light fixtures and other electronics in the room could be updated as well

I luved the staff and the room was perfect..also the ambiance of the hotel was great. Food was xellent in the morning for breakfast. The late check accommodations fit my stay and made my time there mare enjoyable. I am looking forward to staying here again

the elevator could be a little faster. do to the weekend capacity the elevator could run a little more better. this was not an inconvenience to me I just think it could run more smoothly

oh, I didn’t like that. I didn’t receive a complimentary breakfast just because I use Booking.com whereas in the past I have used this website and I received a complementary breakfast… I thought it was rude and why wouldn’t the manager just offer it to me out of courtesy when I asked ? it’s known on my file I’m loyal and always stay at the hotel..

The breakfast was really good for the food they offered, but a bigger selection would be nice. Just adding toast would be great! All breads offered were sweet things. No toast to eat with the eggs and bacon. Side note….the scrambled eggs were amazing and cooked perfectly

The first night there were a lot of issues with the tv service, so for hours we had no channels working. Also bringing actual room service back would be amazing

Great location, comfortable hotel. Amenities were nice. We brought our bikes and the hotel stored them, we rode on the Bay Trail which was located very close to the hotel and our two boys (6 and 2.5) loved the pool.

One of the male front desk staff was not very friendly. I would say ambivalent, not rude or anything just not very friendly.

Beds were comfortable.

The room was unbeknownst to us right across from party Venus the music was loud lasted until 1am. Room was so hot couldn't lower the themorstat.

the location is great and after a little hiccup most of the staff were brilliant and very helpful but there were some issues and some of the team wasn’t quite as helpful as they might have been

the breakfast was pretty good and some of the front of house team exceptional

Loved the Hotel.. Did buy the breakfast and it was excellent! Had questions in the gym and there was no one around to ask.. Wished there could have been a bike included..Overall everything was Great

Wished the tv worked on the tread wheel and there was a bike . Just gym issues .. Everything was Great!!!

 Location to our destination airport, and easy access on and off of the freeway.

staff was kind, but not friendly. Could have been more helpful with information about where to park and how to get to our room.
