Days Inn by Wyndham Encinitas Moonlight Beach

Access to area attractions. Had a stoplight at the entrance which helped with the heavy traffic in the area. Room was clean. We were given an accessible room which only had a full bed because the bathroom was so big. Staff was polite and friendly. Moonlight Beach is about a 10 minute walk.

Ice machine was inoperative. We didn’t go for the breakfast so it wasn’t an issue for us. If breakfast is your thing, go elsewhere. Breakfast was a paper bag with 2 small protein bars, a small carton of tepid orange juice(un drinkable) and an individual wrapped iced pastry which was warmish.

Exceeded expectations. While a budget hotel, the room was well supplied with amenities such as a microwave and fridge, iron, desk, and dresser. Lovely bathroom tub with new fixtures and high quality beauty supplies. Bed was comfortable, and big screen TV offered entertainment if the beach was too cold, or on nights you want to stay inside. With health food store across the street, there was ample access to food options. Really liked the friendly and helpful front desk staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Stay was too short. Will book for longer next time.

Easy walk to beach or into town. Staff was exceptionally friendly—they really made a difference for us! Was great value for the price.

Rooms are pretty standard “old school” motel style and not large, and the property itself is essentially a building on a parking lot (so no pretty grounds to stroll through) but all was clean, comfortable and with newer art and fixtures. If you’re looking for a clean, safe place to sleep after spending the day out and about, this would fit the bill nicely.

This Wyndham Property has everything! It is located in the heart of SoCal's Best Beach Town, Encinitas. It is across the street from Lazy Acres and Jersey Mike's and perched on a hill above PCH. Best of all? For the weary traveler? The parking lot is at least a full acre. Plenty of room to glide around and find the front desk/lobby, the dedicated ice/vending machine room, and then, at last, your room. AND park directly in front of it. (I stayed in a bottom floor room). (Of this three story Inn). This was my first night at the Days Inn by Wyndham Encinitas Moonlight Beach. Most of my other Encinitas stays were West of PCH or in Airbnb's East of PCH in the neighborhoods. I wanted to be within walking distance of the Beach and the shops and restaurants along PCH. But now that I have found this Days Inn by Wyndham location, I have found THE PLACE to stay in Encinitas. Thank. You, Booking. Com for this delightful night!

I did not want to leave. I wanted to stay for the rest of the Fall Season!!!

The location is this place’s biggest attribute. Many great restaurants and walking distance to the downtown. The beach is three blocks away.

I find the elevator’s location to be far from where I want to room. I prefer to be on the third floor front which gives me a great view and no one above me. The problem is that the elevator is on the back and you have to walk the entire backside balcony before you can reach the front. it’s a long walk. I tend to drag my suitcases up Two flights to save time and steps.

Location and price. You couldn't beat any of it. Comfy beds. Variety of pillows. Clean room. Located down the street from a 10 rated beach and tons of funky restaurants. Plenty to do locally but very close to Balboa Park and other S.Diego attractions.

A couple of mornings some kids loading up into their parent's minivan were a little loud. They're kids. What are you going to do.

A few lil things….orange juice, pastry, etc. in a lil brown bag ready to be taken in small fridge in lobby:)

Misplaced sunglasses…communication poor w/front desk…after I departed…. HAMEED was excellent at front desk…early day shift…he allowed me to check out a lil later than normal @ store my bags in Libby until Uber pickup in afternoon:):)🤩

We had a bath tub with over shower. Great location so we could walk into Encinitas and not drive. Also there was a grocery store and bar/diner right oposite, across the freeway. Good value for money.

Just remember to ask for housekeeping daily if you want your room serviced.

The staff was exceptional. We did have to change rooms because the first was unacceptable.lots of issues but the second room was great.

The staff puts all there carts on the wall by the elevator. For seniors it's almost impossible to get by it with your stuff. So that was a pain. It says there is breakfast but it a sack with stuff in it. Covid is pretty much over so that wa she excuse.

Had all advertised amenities. Check-in was fast and friendly. The room I was originally given did not have a room safe, so the receptionist changed the room for me. The room was clean and quiet. Hotel is located close to local shops, and a 10 minute walk from the beach. Good value for a good stay.

The hotel is old and dated, and some of the infrastructure isn’t great. My room was very cold due to a gaping hole around the air conditioner. It clearly used to be a smoking room as the smell of smoke still lingered slightly. Staff were quick to rectify any problems, however.
