I’ve stayed here a lot over the years and always liked it for a safe and afforded option between LA and Oregon. it is always really clean. the new owners have made great improvements to the rooms (at least the one I just stayed in) and it’s so much nicer now.

Toilet ran. I was able to jiggle the handle twice to stop it but not in the morning. Very basic but I was glad to get a room because almost everything was booked for fire fighters. Room may be scheduled for renovation, new style flooring was nice but bathroom was very dated. Very basic A/C.

The check in staff was very friendly and efficient. The motel is simple and nice. Parking is very close to the room doors. No issues with traffic noise on the main road.
The rooms seem a bit dated. There was no coffee or other refreshments in the morning at the lobby. This isn't really a dislike as the hotel was just fine.

The location is very convenient, the staff were friendly and the price was fair.
Water pressure was a bit of an issue as I have long thick hair and washing/rinsing it was a bit difficult. The space in front of my room was always taken as were most of the others next to it. I always had to park way down from my room and haul stuff to my room. Designated parking would be nice or spread out the rentals to accommodate parking guests.

The place was clean and well maintained. The guy working the counter was one of the owners, two brothers that bought the place together. He was helpful, very friendly, and respectful.
Someone forgot to restock the cups in the room but the guy at the desk got some for me right away. Corning has hard water so the floors are slick when wet, but there isn't too much they can do about that.
